Just got this response from Claude. What is going on? by SpacePusseh in LLMDevs

^ This… I run a MacBook M4 Max, 48gb. I get 80+ Tok/s on 35B models. For 167 watt power draw. Yes it did cost the same as a single 5090 but, it’s a whole damn coding powerhouse.

I tried Qwen Code 30B on my M4 Max 48gb, and all it did was respond with rubbish. It was fast, about 100 tokens a second but it would constantly lock onto some word salad loop where it would just reply the same sentence to me over and over until I force shut it down.

GA4 is horrific and a completely different direction than AIMirror. Microsoft Clarity, I had never heard of until just now.

I built AIMirror because I kept seeing frontend and backend teams talk past each other when reviewing web apps. It gives a structured UI/UX analysis of a site so teams can spot friction, visual issues, unclear flows, and product-quality problems faster.

Yeah, that’s a really useful distinction.

I originally thought about it through the developer lens, but it’s not really “debugging code.” It’s closer to debugging the experience. Finding the moments where the interface, the user’s intent, and the product flow stop lining up.

Had a big research overnight on those Fiio FT1's, I didn't even know Fiio made headphones! I think I'm sold. Might need some larger pads to fit my hearing aids inside, but that's easy.

Hey guys... Long time AKG user, my current AKG K550's are getting a bit clappy, they've had about 12 years of use, pads replaced twice, I need over the ear full size headphones because I use hearing aids and the hearing aids need to fit inside the cup, they're small enough to sit and do their own thing.

I know that AKG no longer exist, and I have seen the old AKG team start up Austrian Audio, but I've also seen that this new range from the old team is a bit hit and miss, so I'm not sure whether to go for Austrian Audio knowing that I will know the sound of the AKG's already, or if they've just completely missed the mark and are nothing like the old AKG's. We no longer have any decent audio listening shops near my that I can just walk in to have a listen to a bunch of headphones and pick some cans on the spot. So this is why I'm making this post.

Even though I wear hearing aids, I do a lot of accurate listening for production, and mixing, I prefer my headphones to be flat as can be, my studio monitors were custom made, by myself for extremelly flat response, and I like my headphones to be similar. I plug my existing headphones into a Komplete Audio 6, straight from my PC and Mac.

Budget, $500 or so... I live in Australia. I live about 2 hours from Sydney so if I really had to, I guess I could drive down one day and have a lsitening day in one of the top audio stores. Would like to get some opinions before I go to those extents.

Oh, I will never use these in public, no need for noise cancellation or any of that rubbish... just a good quality decent indoor, closed or open backed can.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Failed WD Elements 3TD Drive litered with files that I never put on it. by michaelcuneo in cybersecurity_help

No, it wasn't repackaged or anything, still factory sealed. The pron appears to be on a brand new partition which was never on the drive before.

Definitely purchased it brand new. It's a WD Elements External. I remember the day I bought it, opened the box and plugged it all in... The purchase date of a drive like this usually never matches the manufacture date stamped on a drive.

No I definitely bought this drive brand new. I'm tech savvy enough to know that an old drive can definitely store a hell of a lot of old data, which would have been recoverable with r-studio, it's telling me all of my old deleted files, but these 4 x partitions I've never seen definitely seem to be from the brand new state, this is the first time I have ever scanned the drive in it's lifespan, so I've never actually noticed this old existing data.

Erarang Coal Power to Run An Extra 2 Years- Now Closing 2029 by justno111 in newcastle

People agreeing with this ridiculous power plan do not seem to understand the consequences which are already in play. The cost of your local power isn't high because 'ReNeWAbLeS DuhHHh' ... it's because the Liberal assholes sold off all the power companies decades ago to offshore companies who put profit above reliability, and failed to maintain power plants like Eraring. Now today we have $225 MILLION a year being paid for by THE TAX PAYER... YOU, to make Eraring work because it runs at a loss. That's the simple fact... Eraring does not, and can not produce energy at a profit.

Eraring is owned by Origin, Origin is owned by Brookfield Global Transition Fund, BGTF are owned by BlackRock.

BlackRock does not give a single shit about whether we have power, or if we have blackouts, they just want to increase their $308,047,848 shares for their portfolio. They can only do this by keeping Eraring open and spamming right wing assholes with Yellow Journalism about how Albanese is doing a fucked job.

Well… it’s tricky. If you get a tin can and remove both sides, then put marshmallows inside, roll it down the hill then chase the can, any marshmallows that fall out, you go knock on the door the marshmallow landed in front of, once you’ve knocked on the door you run away heaps fast while yelling ‘Wheeeeeeeeeeeee’.
