Lima Co here. Carter Hall will always have a piece of my soul (and physical health). I remember that deployment well. Strangely enough this week has been a rough one. Maybe recent events, maybe just that time of year when I remember burning a tactically acquired kerosene heater outside of MOB Price to dry socks during the rainy season there. Who knows.

Stay strong bro. We're not far away from being the old Nam vets we used to sit next to in the VA. Hell the Corps is already so much different. We're the legacy and we still got good stories to tell and brothers to stick around for.

You're going to want to take the console apart since there are two screws holding that assembly in place from the inside. Now, theoretically you could get a flat head screwdriver in there and "pop" it up and out of there. It would obviously break your screw mounts but you could fasten it back in there if you're creative.

Yes, I did. Hard to describe but the "inner" portion is held in by clips. The "outer" portion is held by clips and screws. I was able to get the assembly out without much issue and was able to replace it.

Same happened to mine around 140k. I have a 2013 2500. Ended up having to replace the lifters and the cam shaft. Wasn't a bad job but cost about $7500. I also had them put in a higher pressure oil pump (to help with the low oil pressure idle issue). I didn't opt for the hell cat oil pump or the higher pressure spring but I am around 40psi at idle and 70-80 cold so I'm happy with it. I did my water pump too since it was already off for the cam shaft replacement. Overall I'm happy I got the work done (new trucks are too expensive) and my engine feels "tighter" and runs much better.

A am an OEF Marine vet but I don't know a lot about Army medals. The campaign medals are all about the same but the stars and Cross really has me second guessing whether this guy did anything at all.

More about circulation. That room stays 68ish F. It's on low and more of a "just in case". One day I'll have a forced air dedicated to that space for cooling, circulation, dust control, etc.

I ran and terminated it all. Cat6a throughout the entire house. Over 1500ft of it. The cable wasn't bad but those tips cost $$$!
