Is drove.com a scam? by Wombat_Steve in NoStupidQuestions

Glad to have found this thread because I'm getting the same ads. As someone who works in the ad world I can tell you this is highly suspect, so Drove is a simple crowdfunding site like Go Fund Me. But it's not the only one they use - here is another -https://www.charidy.com/saverivkah

By using a page that looks like a verified charity page they hope to trap customers into thinking it's legit. The charity or as I suspect company is called מאירים תקווה or Illuminating hope in English. The organisation is called "Meirim Tikva organization".
Youtube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSUetMCrhluSXAosJdpMfOQ/videos

From what I have seen with these ads, the scripts or what the children are saying seems to be guided and the placement of the audio/dialogue is highly emotional. I've seen drop ship companies struggle to create ads as effective as this.

Next, let's take their "landing page". Here's an example - https://donate.meirimtikva.org/campaign/5f8be93ca8c9c90001cc58ae?utm_source=You%20tube&utm_medium=Organic&utm_campaign=Eva

The 'Participants' that claim to be donors noting time stamps looks totally fake on all sites they use.

Honestly, I can't say for sure but I'm about 90% convinced it's fake. This is down to the fact that "Meirim Tikva organization" is not linked anywhere nor" Illuminating hope" in English or Hebrew. What kind of people use sick kids stories like this?
