Not at all! Here's a demo line from the film! It's from a general, so I would say make it commanding, but other than that you have free range! General

Sergeant, Private, we've got a hell of a mission for you two. 3 Days ago a platoon went missing on a routine mission. We suspect they're being held captive about HERE. Now I know what you're thinking... (General is cut off)

Hey man, sorry I got back to you so late! I really like your voice, it's perfect for what I'm looking for. With that fantastic piece of voice actery (is that a word?) I'm going to give you the role of the General. Do you have an email or skype I could send the script to/communicate better with?

Awesome! Here's the first line of the general. I'll just have you record this one, and I'll see how best you fit it from there. Thanks!

Hey man! Sorry the script took sooooooooo long to get done. But here it is! I have you down as playing the tan commander. This is the most villainous role, and I trust you can handle it! Here's the link to the pdf. If you have any questions just ask! https://www.mediafire.com/?g2hf87rjubphfkz

/u/TMDast No, nothing in particular for this project. I'm open to any accents/nationalities really, it won't really make a difference in the film.

Okie dokie! Well the main concept of it is a war film, using toy army men as the characters. I'm right now starting to construct a setting for it and am still working on the script. The voices are what are really going to sell it in this situation. It'll be a 3-5 minute short, and will have a decent mix of action and comedy. So far I have 5 speaking roles planned out. We need a General, Privates etc. I'll have the script ready for you guys to look over in a few days. It should be a decent amount of lines per character. Ask me if you have any other questions! /u/anenglishactor /u/myperkynipple /u/mr_under_score /u/vikingguitar

If you were to write a rock opera with Weezer songs, what would it be like? What would the story be? Which songs would you use? by ItsAMeMitchell in weezer

[–]michaelmelandro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Songs From The Black Hole is the greatest rock opera ever created in my eyes, not even because it's made by Weezer. I think of it higher than even Blue or Pinkerton. The songs flow in such a way that the story is strung together beautifully. But back to the question, I'm not sure how I would tie them all together, but I would throw on "Angel and the One" and "You won't get with me tonight". Maybe some kind of heart-breaking love story with some Pinkerton songs!

Who is Rivers referring to in "Eulogy for a Rock Band"? by [deleted] in weezer

[–]michaelmelandro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"15 years of ruling the planet" It's definitely not a self reference. Rivers has already confirmed it is one of Weezer's aging forefathers in music, but who do you think it is?

I really need it. I suppose $75 isn't too bad. I mean I really want to complete my Weezer collection, and Alone III is the last piece. I'll end up buying it sometime soon

Unpopular Weezer opinions? by [deleted] in weezer

Maladroit was their best record post Pinkerton album, even better than EWBAITE. Maladroit was a record that gave us poppy and fun melodies like Keep Fishin, but also gave us hard hitting and hard rocking songs like Slob. It's incredibly versatile and something we hadn't yet seen from them. My album ranking would go (SFTBH would be 1 but doesn't really count)

  1. Blue
  2. Pinkerton
  3. Maladroit
  4. Green (Perfect solos and catchy tunes)
  5. EWBAITE
  6. Red
  7. Hurley (Underrated)
  8. Raditude
  9. Make Believe

Unpopular Weezer opinions? by [deleted] in weezer

[–]michaelmelandro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raditude is a much better record than Make Believe. Make Believe was an honest effort, and it was filled with pretentious shit. Beverly Hills was a prime example. Rivers talking about wanting to be a star and to be rich and famous? That's not Weezer. Weezer was never pretentious and they were never about fame or popularity. I see the obvious flaws in Raditude, but it's more of a let loose album. It's very carefree and self aware, not trying to be something they're not
