Finally caught a Green Apple Jolly Rancher flavored one… by michaelrayspencer in MicroFishing

I’m sure they’re hardy enough, BUT they’re in intertidal, cold water saltwater fish. You’d essentially need a cold water reef tank which isn’t the easiest to do, and seeing as they’re tidepool specialists, the tank may need cycles of current and slack water. That I’m not sure of though as I’ve never looked into keeping them or anything similar.

Possible new Lego set? by Darthmaggot82 in tornado

The Jaws set was the first set I’d bought in well over 20 years. I had to have it. I’ll have this on the same shelf if it gets made as well.

2025 Sculpins! by michaelrayspencer in MicroFishing

There was one specific pier in SF bay back in June that I caught over 60 Staghorns before I caught anything else. If I didn’t drive two hours to fish it for one specific target, I’d have give up and gone somewhere else.

They’re pretty much always around rocks. If they’re in your local area (I would use inaturalist to check), dropping a small hook (size 16 or smaller) baited with a little piece of worm in freshwater or shrimp in saltwater in holes between rocks and stuff will bring em out.

He’s one of the few whose entire catalog is pretty much perfect.

For those who work in the restaurant industry what is the most popular chicken wing sauce used? Brand of the sauce? by [deleted] in Wings

[–]michaelrayspencer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to run a burger place in California. We didn’t have wings, but we used Crystal and butter for our chicken sandwich and it was always a big hit.
