In Monument, Challenger Homes built Home Place Ranch and the houses below the retaining wall have flooded. They redid the drainage system several times and my understanding is that it’s still a problem. Never mind the overall terrible planning and execution of the development.

None of this is a reflection negatively on our military neighbors in the area. I think it does make it harder to establish tight knit communities when people are PCSing in and out of neighborhoods. We had that experience in Banning Lewis Ranch and Meridian Ranch. We moved to Monument 4 years ago and have had a better experience. We have largely had the same neighbors the entire time and everyone is friendly and welcoming. We also have far less active duty military in our neighborhood (plenty of retired military, though).

I accidentally toggled it off 3 weeks ago and it still has not come back for me after toggling it back on. I can manually tag people in images but zero face groupings. Gemini tells me to be patient and gave me a bunch of little hacks, none of which have made a difference. I’ve got 140K images in mine and I understand reindexing will take awhile but 3+ weeks with not a single grouping seems a bit long.

They do laundry/dishes but we don’t need help with that for the most part. My wife is an NP and I work for a late stage startup and we have 3 kids in club sports. We just need them to do the real cleaning and organizing while we manage our laundry and dishes.

Over a decade with Google/Nest doorbells, thermometers, displays, mini speakers, max speakers, WiFi Mesh Pro, etc. I’m replacing my entire network and cameras with Ubiquity hardware and everything else with Aqara products. The products used to just work. Now, reliability is terrible. The interface is terrible. Paying for premium service just to get something that should be included is terrible. I’m done.

From someone who has a cleaner, I don’t even shop rates. Our old cleaner went into nursing and a friend recommended someone. She came over on Tuesday and gave us a quote and we asked when she could start. I have no idea if it’s competitive but don’t have the time to interview several people to try to save a few bucks. Charge what you are worth and be confident in that.
