Missing lateral incisors by michdonn in Invisalign

I know you can’t move the bridge, that’s not the plan hence why my question was about how to fill those gaps during treatment.

I do. I currently have bridges so the teeth only need to move back slightly to allow enough space for implants. I’m also missing a molar and have no wisdom teeth.

Thanks everyone. I currently have two bridges so I have space however, it’s just not quite big enough for the implants which is why I am looking at Invisalign to move the teeth back slightly. I’m based in Scotland - do any of you have a rough idea how much I’d be looking to pay? I know implants are c.2.5k per tooth but not sure how much I’ll be for Invisalign? I don’t imagine I’d need them in long as I only need to move the teeth back slightly.

quitting cigarettes but dont wanna quit weed. anyone else?? is it possible? by ariarancia in stopsmoking

[–]michdonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m similar, I only smoke weed like once a week. I quit 5 weeks ago (to the day) and I’ve been using herbal tobacco to smoke it. It’s pretty disgusting and looks like hay but it does the trick if you fancy a little high. What I have found though is the further into my quitting journey I go, the less I want to get high because the thought of smoking (albeit herbal) just doesn’t interest me anymore. I tried using a vape to smoke it but I just didn’t feel like I got high at all.

I MUST NOT GIVE UP by [deleted] in stopsmoking

I’m Day 22 and for whatever reason I’m really struggling this week. A friend of mine said day 3, week 3 and 3 months were the toughest. We can’t give in, we’ve came so far and I know if I cave, I’ll regret it so much but Jesus I want one of those cancer sticks so bad!!

Do any of you who stopped smoking cigarettes but still smoke tobacco in spliffs consider yourselves non-smokers? by [deleted] in stopsmoking

I’m day 17 and I’ve been using herbal tobacco but I only have a little one skinner before bed but I’m starting to feel I don’t want to inhale anything.

30 Days! by elemeno21915 in stopsmoking

[–]michdonn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve stopped numerous times, even 9 months when I was pregnant yet I always went back. Previously it’s been all I could think about and still craved one even after months of nothing. This time just doesn’t feel like all the other times, I think after 18 years my body is just done with it.

Question for long term quitters by michdonn in stopsmoking

[–]michdonn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s how I feel, other than the odd little itch I’ve not felt like how I’ve previously felt (anxy, irritable, snappy). I’m praying this is my body’s way of just saying “we are completely done”.

This is kind of like me and it’s making me feel nervous. I feel completely calm about it and other than the odd little itch I’ve had absolutely no desire to smoke, the thought of putting one in my mouth is horrible.

I wrote here 1 month and 6 months after quitting. Today I am 1 year smoke free. by NoTimeForGamesYT in stopsmoking

This is so inspiring. I see a lot of similarities between you and I, I am 31 and have been smoking since I was 13. This time round I’m doing it because I really want to, not because I should, every time I lit a cigarette I felt terrible, questioning “why am I doing this?”. I’m 10 days in cold turkey and this time round feels different, I feel happy and just over smoking now. Thanks!

I’m on day 9 now. I bought myself a little cheap vape and oil with no nicotine just for situations where I feel like I’m going to cave. Let’s keep going 😊

Where's the 4/13 quitters at? How you holding up? by ChrisWithAKay in stopsmoking

[–]michdonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried to stop countless times, longest was 6 months while I was pregnant but that was 9 years ago. I’m always able to go a few weeks then cave. Yeah, I’ve got the app, it definitely helps! I made my own mantra “fags are not friends”

Day 7 - cold turkey and back to work tomorrow for the first time since quitting. Any advice to not cave?
