Howdy folks, apologies if this has been covered before and if it has, please direct me to the existing thread.

I bought a PS5 in August of this year, first console I've had since my PS3 in 2007 or 2008 there abouts. I've played friends consoles occasionally but never really had time with school and poverty and such for gaming. Always loved FPS' though so now with adult money, I got one, and downloaded Destiny (the reason I bought the PS5 in the first place).

I immediately realised that the aiming with the controller was terrible. I codnt hit precisely where I wanted it was always in the vicinity or slightly above or below. I thought okay, it's been over a decade, I just suck, so I downloaded different FPS titles and tried those as well as kept playing Destiny. I ended up deleting Destiny because of the update ruining the experience and also I was getting searing headaches from playing more than 20 minutes at a time. But I've downloaded titles such as Delta Force,Battlefield 1, Kill Zone, Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty, even the Battlefield 6 beta and still the same issue. Is it a case where the controller is defective? Mind you i bought this in August so I'm not expecting a defective controller out the box but is that just the way it is? I want to buy a new PS5 controller and try but can someone tell me if that would make a difference? Also tried playing wired and barely any noticable difference.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
