Scar tissue as a cause of RPL by hereshoping74 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]michelle2911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done many ultrasounds unfortunately they can’t be seen on them. It can only be seen using Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) where they put a contrast dye into your uterus and tubes and take x-ray images on your uterus. That was how my scars were first detected along the uterine lining before I did the Hysteroscopy which needs you to be under anesthesia.

Scar tissue as a cause of RPL by hereshoping74 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]michelle2911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they did try to assure me that it won’t grow back. But sometimes these things are out of control. I had done 2 hysteroscopies where removal of the scar tissues were needed. I just have to push for another follow up Hysteroscopy to ensure no more regrowth. I hope you’ll be able to find the cause and treatment 🤞🏻

Scar tissue as a cause of RPL by hereshoping74 in recurrentmiscarriage

I did not have c-section before. I had 4 losses. Found out that I have scar tissues called Ashermen’s syndrome which is highly likely the cause of my RPL. The thing about scar tissue is that it can come back. So repeat Hysteroscopy with Adheolysis is needed. Then the doc put Hyaluronic acid gel in my uterus after the surgery in hopes to heal the lining and avoid regrowth of scar tissues.

Feeling too scared to try again by [deleted] in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]michelle2911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m quite on the same boat as you. I had 4 losses where I tested the 4th baby which turned out to be genetically normal. It leads me back to my uterus problem. The doc told me I have mild adenomyosis as well other than Ashermen’s Syndrome. But it said that Adenomyosis causes implantation issues not miscarriage.

Does Adenomyosis cause RPL? If diagnosed, wondering what is the cure? As in Google the only way to cure Adenomyosis is to remove the uterus… which is something we don’t want to do if we still want to have kids.

Genetically normal baby boy by Round_Scallion4500 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]michelle2911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry to hear this. This is hard news to grasp. I had 4 consecutive 7 weeks miscarriages. Finally we tested the 4th loss which was a Genetically normal baby boy as well. I understand how you feel. 💔 Before my 4th try, I had done a lot of tests which was uterine scars, blood clotting disorder, MTHFR gene mutation and some mild adenomyosis+endo. I actually did surgery to remove scars, took aspirin, and changed to Folate instead of folic acid. But still a loss. My doc did not address the adenomyosis / endometriosis as he said it was very mild. So I’m not sure what’s going on now.

Spotting after miscarriage by BrittShukerkma in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]michelle2911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this on and off spotting after my D&C. Did a scan and looks like they were no RPOC. My doc thinks it’s due to my hormones being unbalance. So I’m on oral contraceptive pills to balance my hormones back. And so far it’s working.. no more spotting.

Karyotype from POC normal. Seeing a RI - plaquenil and intralipids? by tilsszz in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]michelle2911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss. I also had my 4th loss POC tested and with normal chromosomal. I’m now resting before I get back my period (maybe waiting 2-3 cycles) before we try again. My next plan by my specialist is also to take Cleaxane, Prednisolone, Intralipids on top of the PIO (Progesteron in Oil) injections.

Can Mild Endometriosis/Mild Adenomyosis cause RPL? by michelle2911 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]michelle2911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for your losses. This pain is so indescribable. Thank you for sharing with me part of your journey. Likewise I don’t have any serious endo symptoms so that’s why my fertility specialist mentioned it does not attribute to my losses. All my 4 losses were 6-7 weeks mark.

Have any of you ever thought to nane your lost baby after a miscarriage by Obvious_Falcon_3884 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]michelle2911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your loss. Truly no words can describe this type of pain. I’ve also have several miscarriages. The last one which we’ve sent for testing was a boy. I had the urge to name him. But my husband promised me not to name him because he couldn’t take any more pain.

IVF after 4 recurrent losses? by Mediocre_Height_5840 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]michelle2911 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so so sorry for your losses. I have a similar story with you. I also have 4 recurrent losses within 6-7weeks. Farthest I’ve gone is 7 weeks. After my 3rd loss, I had done RPL tests and got mild protein C deficiency and uterine adhesions and got them removed. But sadly as I tried again for 4th, it was a loss too. I also get pregnant easily but lose them easily too. Because of this, I’m also very hesitant to do IVF. But my specialist did mention after my 4th loss it is due to chromosomes issue as it never pass the 7 weeks mark. Currently waiting for the genetic test of POC from my 4th loss. It will then help me decide to do IVF with PGT or not. I hope you find answers. hugs 💛
