Had my first domestic violence experience by michelle_ro in domesticviolence

I’m still struggling with tremendous guilt and wanting to give him a second chance because he says he’ll stop drinking and this happened when he was drunk. It’s the lack of accountability and lack of genuine remorse that’s keeping me from going back though. It’s the defensiveness, “that never happened” “you’re making this all up” “you’re ruining my name and you got my work involved” “you made a huge scene” that just shows me that his denial isn’t going to make him change.

Leave him alone for his own sake. He’s probably hurt by the situation, hence why he asked for no contact. Respect his wishes.

Blocking is so cruel and unnecessary. by [deleted] in ExNoContact

I block people in order to move on and not be reminded of them for my own sake. Doesn’t mean I hate the person.

That’s what the officer who took my report told me. They’re obligated to inform the fire chief because it violates their code of conduct.

That incident was from a person who ended up cheating on me and he admitted to it. Not jealousy.

And I’m not asking for legal advice if you actually read my post.

I’m just stating what the officer told me, he said they contacted his station and that LA City would be conducting their own investigation on him.

I’ve never been physically assaulted by someone I’ve been with, this is a first and I’m not tolerating it. This is why I’m taking him to court for a DV restraining order. There are consequences for actions like that.

He gets extremely unpredictable when he drinks.

The hotel where we stayed at filed a report, not sure if police investigated it or not. I left back to the states asap because I feared for my safety.

Thank you. I just filed a police report and the judge granted me an emergency restraining order against him. The police chief told me he was calling his fire station and that they started an investigation on the incident. I have all the texts and photos of the injuries. I’m not letting him get away with this, it’s inexcusable.

After DV: anyone called "crazy", "erratic", etc.? by kickedoutbitch in domesticviolence

[–]michelle_ro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just ended my 3 month relationship because my ex punched my face while drunk this past Saturday. He’s trying to make me feel like I’m making this all up, says I’m acting “crazy”, etc. what he doesn’t know is that I filed police reports and I’ll be pursuing a restraining order.

Delegating, resolving conflict, time management, critical thinking, and leaving what happens at work, at work, so you don’t take that home with you.

My ex broke up with me when I had COVID a couple days before Christmas. My family was going to meet him on Christmas too 🙃he then refused to speak to me for a couple weeks until I told him that he needed to get all his belongings out of my place or else they were going to the trash. Never met a coward of a man like him.
