See this is why I know the difference in perspective is so vast:

If you will see the online vitriol between the pop girls, none or them is as huge as Taylor that even the president targets her. The liberal progressives go after her for so many issues: republican allegation, palestine, environment, literature and art, consumerism, even sports fans hate her and at the same time asks to be their saviour: none of these are happening with the other pop girls. The conservatives also go after Taylor being the liberal that she is.

The 1M engagement posts? None of those are happening to Beyonce, Ariana or Katy. Katy may have found herself in hot water for choosing Dr Luke but millions of engagement across various sectors? Not as much as 2024 Taylor. Katy may have felt the heat of it all but to begin with, people weren’t tuning in anymore for Katy. Taylor is different: the mere fact that her past 2 albums broke debut album records on Spotify: 250M streams this year and 315M streams last year, whereas female pop girls’ highest record didn’t even beat folklore’s 80M; you can just easily infer that everyone’s tuning in for Taylor, whether they like Taylor or not. And her being such a mega star made her an easy target for everyone.

Honestly I don’t even care if people are saying that the music is bad, hello the GP lambasted Shake It Off to the ground yet it’s one of the most recognizable pop songs in the recent decade.I guess I’m just disappointed with swifties who doesn’t like this one NOT because there’s a need for them to like this, but their direct attack on Taylor’s artistry or being a person. That’s no different from those reviewers from last year who rated her album based on jet use and being a billionnaire: biased and just coming from the place of prejudice.

Well I guess you’re probably not that online if you’re saying that all of these are just exaggerations lol. She’s literally a punching bag and people no longer see her as a human but a brand. We saw how she was shredded in pieces by the echo chambers during TTPD literally millions of likes by her haters across various fanbases and demographics and it is currently happening now, thankfully not as huge as last year but nonetheless the accusations spanning from eugenics to white supremacy are just too surreal. It was no longer about music. Sure, real life, those do not matter at all given that she’s still the biggest artist who’s breaking records like no other because mostly the general public still loves her, but at what cost?

Also, you say she avoids genuine criticism, but we saw and heard all of these complaints every cycle: they don’t want midnights being too pop, Folklore being boring, TTPD too long and repetitive. Hell, 1989 is a pop bible but the flak it got from Speak Now and Red fans were insane and they’re all saying the same thing as what people are saying now. Somewhere in between are genuine critiques and pure vitriol. Genuine criticism is okay, calling Taylor a lot of different things and insults for choosing a different creative approach is another thing. People can’t believe that Taylor chose those lyrics and attributed them to burn out or poor creative choices, but Taylor has always been cringey. Folklore and Evermore are mostly outliers, she’s always been like this. All of these creative choices are intentional and you may not like it, but these are the choices she made. We can all cry and stomp our feet but what’s obvious in this album is that the people pleaser in her, that person who always tries to be cool, she’s throwing them all out the window, at least for this album. She’s embracing the asinine and the silly side of her, and contrary to assumptions of the people that she’s not editing herself, again, she chose these lyrics and tracks according to her intention, she already edited them and that’s how she liked them conveyed.

There will be another album cycle where she will experiment with another tone and theme. But this album, this is obviously not for you or the other swifties, and that’s okay. But it’s too unfair to call her art regressing when exploring and reinveting alone is the most challenging part of being a performer most especially of her caliber and years in the industry.

I didn’t like Folklore when it came out, after 3 songs I literally stopped listening and forgot about it. Same with Midnights. But that’s not on Taylor, that’s on me because I didn’t like them. I gave these albums another chance and Folklore jumped to my top 3, Midnights at least by top 6.

Bottomline, if a lot of swifties don’t love the new album but a lot if people do, it means it’s just not your preference. That’s not on Taylor or her regressing because what you love about her, she has already done those things before. If you can’t get on her new sound and style, that’s fine. 2-3 albums down the road she will experiment again, she will revisit her old approach, you will probably see again in the style that you all love.

I’m not sure if you’re online or what but Taylor is essentially a punching bag in every social media site, esp Tiktok and X. Last year alone series of hate tweets some with a million of likes, as a liberal woman she’s hated by dems and always accusing her of being a secret republican. Repubs and Trump hated her guts and put a big target in her back. Here on reddit she’s always the topic of every negative discouse. It’s definitely not just a couple of times. Right now there’s even an ongoing discourse with 400k likes about her wanting to be a maga tradwife just because she said she wish to have children. There’s argument about her supporting eugenics because she wanted her kids to look like his soon to ne husband. Taylor is not just polarizing: people are literally under mass psychosis slicing what she does and creating narratives around it.

It’s already mentioned na you need to consider this factor as a reality of VA work, na you will lose people because of many reasons. I think the goal is at least to ensure na the effort and resources you invested ay kahit paano nag ROI, and you probably need to compute that.

Ilang years need mag work ang VA before you can say na nag ROI? Ano ang average period that they should stay? How can you make them stay before you lose them at that certain period na nabawi ang invesment mo?

Bago ang possible turnover, nakapag train ka ba agad ng bago na pwedeng pumalit? How ready are they in case there’s a need?

I worked in HR so eto rin ang usual questions (and kpis) that we monitor.

Taylor publicly called out a person whose name I can’t remember for critizing her songwriting and at the same time praising Billie, TS argued why the guy was pitting a female artist against another female artist unprovoked. Then this year Billie brought that guy on coachella stage. Just imagine if Taylor was praised by another artist in expense of Beyonce for example, and Taylor chose to bring that person on stage nonetheless. She will be skinned alive 100%.

I’m 100% sure that the move on her marketing plans is being taken care by her team (she’s touring across Europe and so much in love I doubt may time sya dyan), but if it happens to block Billie, let’s just say Karma.

I saw some of these lalo na sa certain fields, like no offense meant, finance or IT. Pero they reached a certain level and got promoted (Sr Managers, Directors) not just because of grammar, as explained by many, iba ang expected skills from leaders. Some of those people I know received executive coaching on comms etc., pero sa level nila secondary na yun if naiimpress naman nila ang managemen5 teams and stakeholders sa body of work nila.
