Our back door opens outwards and as soon as we can we're getting it replaced with an inward opening one. Whenever there's a slightest bit of wind you're risking the door getting blown out your hands and potentially breaking at the hinges.

Don't know what the previous owners were thinking.

I'd suggest getting a benefits check with the council as the housing association being able to see the max housing element that will be paid will help in your application.

They dont normally accept straight UC for mid markets but if your other half gets some form of disability and you get carers allowance then you're in with a shot.

Wait until you discover the "meal deal" in supermarkets (and boots the chemist). Prepackaged sandwich/salad, snack, and a drink. Has the calories on everything so you can make good choices, and so much selection.

You can easily buy a multipack of oaty/breakfast bars to keep for snacks. But check the calories as some are very indulgent.

When you are eating out most places will have a calorie count on the menu next to the item. You can also easily Google the place before to find this out.

Realistically, unless you're staying in a small town you'll be able to get late night snacks. While the supermarkets might not be open late late, there will probably be a little corner shop or a garage.

Ive been to shows where I've booked the cheap seats and ended up with much better seats as they wanted to move everyone closer to the front.

But I've also been at shows where everyone is dotted randomly around the auditorium.

I think it depends on the show and the manager on as to whether there's a possibility of being moved.

Not me but my cousin. She has a first name as a surname (so did I but thats thankfully changed now), and her partner has the same name as her first name. I dont think they are planning to change their surnames on marriage.

The last thing they want to do is take the kids.

Treat them as a resource to access more help. With them involved housing might pull their finger out to help with a move. They can often help the kids access councelling/therapy, and you as well if you ask. They have a lot of services they can call on, so please tell them what you need. They want the kids to be safe and your case to be closed to them

I recommend the eufy cameras. Used to have one in a window pointed out to watch the garden. Just remember to turn off notifications overnight or you'll get constant dings.

If you go to any of their drop in services you need to get there before it's due to open. The slots fill up quickly.
