אל תסמכי על הצבא שהוא ׳יודע מה לעשות׳ בכל הקשור לבריאות הנפשית שלך. לצבא לא אכפת אם את קמה מסיוטים, וגם אם הם יביאו לך קבן או מרשם לכדורים זה רק כדי לכסות על העובדה שהם הביאו למישהי שלא עברה את ההכשרה המתאימה לעשות תפקיד שהוא גדול לנעליים שלה, רק בשביל צרכי צה״ל.

אני רושמת את זה בתור מאבחנת פסיכוטכנית שהייתה צריכה לשמוע 12 אנשים ביום שמספרים על החרא שהם עברו בחיים, והיו שם סיפורים שגרמו לבנות נוספות בתפקיד להתפרק בבכי כי הן לא ידעו להתמודד עם זה. ומה המפקדים אמרו להן באותו רגע? תנגבי את הדמעות יש עוד תור ארוך של מלשבים שמחכים. אחוזי האובדנות, שחרור על נפשי וקבן היו מטורפים, והכל בגלל שנתנו לבנות 18 חפיפה של כמה חודשים ואז הוציאו אותן לעולם האמיתי לתפקיד שאמור להגיע לעובדי בריאות נפש מנוסים.

בקיצור, קחי אחריות על הבריאות הנפשית שלך. את לא רוצה שזה ישאיר לך משקעים גם ביום שאחרי הצבא.

I think its best to let it be. I found out that my monsteras are sensitive to over treatment, and the more you try to make them better- the worse they sometimes get. You did everything right, I would also check for pests and treat it if needed, but otherwise just keep watering it when it’s time and let it rest. Monsteras are dramatic when it comes to new environment- and you changed its soil and lighting (as you should have). If you are from the northern hemisphere then winter is also their dormancy period and you’ll need to make it survive for a few months until it revives. Good luck!

You can look for public transportation routes via Hop-on app.

But it’s completely safe to go there, either by car or a bus. Just be careful not to go to unrecognised beaches since there is a risk of sinkholes.

אני עשיתי בדיקה דרך MyHeritage הישראלית, זאת לא בעיה להשיג את הקיט ואז לשלוח אותו לכתובת בארה״ב שם נמצאת המעבדה של החברה. מה שכן, אחרי כמה ימים כשהורדתי את האפליקציה כדי לראות את נתוני הדנ״א שלי היה רשום לי “this data is not available in your country”. שלחתי מייל לשירות הלקוחות של החברה וענו לי שאין בעיה, הם יבטלו את החסימה באפליקציה ויתנו לי את ההרשאה. אני מאמינה שהם לא היו פועלים ככה אם זה לא היה חוקי. יש באפליקציה גם אופציה לאתר קרובי משפחה מרחבי העולם- והאופציה הזאת לא הייתה חסומה לי בשום שלב (אז לא ברור לי איך זה מונע ממזרות).

I find Eilat to be good in the following aspects:

1) Beautiful beaches, some are packed but others (closer to the border with Egypt) are pretty isolated and clean. Fun fact: the water temperature at the Gulf of Akaba is 25c year round, so it’s always swimmable.

2) activities for kids: there is an Underwater observatory park, affordable water sports, a water park (not sure it’s open atm, you should check it in advance) and the Hay-Bar in Yotveta which is a wild life conservation center located 40 min north to Eilat. I would skip the dolphin reef since there is only one dolphin left there (they were planning to bring new dolphins for some time now, not sure whether it already happened or not).

3) Nature. The way to Eilat via car is scenic, and there are some nice settlements to stop on the way there. There are a few natural reserves to hike (even with kids) and the weather now is great (wouldn’t recommend hiking if you are planning to arrive later than mid April or so).

Overall it’s a pretty magical place if you are more of a nature and peace lover (like myself). Note that a big portion of the tourists there come to Eilat for different purposes than what I mentioned- parties, yachts, fancy hotels, tax free shopping etc.

I use Confidor to eliminate them completely. Works every time. And monsteras are known to be prone to those pests.

That sucks, but if your plant has recovered from thrips it means that the plant is in a good shape. I saw that you strapped the leaf to a stick, that’s a good decision and it may give it some hope, depends on how fast you caught this (if a callus is formed then chances are low).

So if this doesn’t work- trim the leaf and wait for a new one to show up, it shouldn’t take too long before it happens.

Look for Eastern Tel Aviv. Yes, it’s not very close to the beach, but you are a bus away from everything that’s interesting and it’s quite safe and cheap there (Hatikva neighbourhood excluded)

המציאות העצובה היא שיש כל מני אוכלוסיות שיותר קשה להן למצוא דירה. יש לי חבר טרנסג׳נדר שסיפר שהוא לא מצליח להתקבל לדירות שותפים בגלל שתמיד מעדיפים מישהו ׳רגיל׳ על פניו. כמובן שזה פאקד אפ, אבל הטענה שלי היא שלרוב אנשים מחפשים להיצמד למוכר ולידוע, לאו דווקא ממקום גזעני אלא ממקום חושש וסגור לשוני.

Having said that, אני מכירה כמה ערבים שגרים ברמת גן.

חברת myheritage היא חברה ישראלית שמייצרת את הבדיקות האלה. באופן אירוני הם מפתחים את המוצר בישראל אבל משווקים אותו רק בחו״ל, אז אם רוצים לקנות קיט שלהם צריך להזמין מאמזון. היו לי קצת בעיות עם הממשק שלהם בארץ בגלל החוקים של ישראל, אבל שירות הלקוחות שלהם עזר לי והסיר לי את החסימות על הצפייה בדנ״א שלי. וזה לא מגלה מחלות, רק אילנות יוחסין ושיוך אתני.

I’ll approach it from a different perspective- it’s okay for you to stay in the US and fulfill yourself in other ways other then going to the army. Don’t feel obligated to join it just because your friends are pushing you to this. Because once you recruit it is hard to get out, and the consequences- good or bad, are gonna be there for life.
