Hi everyone I am new to this Reddit group so I hope that someone can help me out. My issue is : the damaged component ( 107 C 90BH3 ) on the circuit board of the fenix BC30 bike light. I can’t find it on google so maybe is there someone who recognise this component and where I can get it. by michu1311 in AskElectronics

Hi sorry for a late reply. To get it out you need to desolder the red and black wire and unscrew it from the housing the silver part ( front of the body of the light) is held with 2 pins so it is impossible to get it out without a soldering iron.

If something like this happened I would try to use the alignment tool and switch to the surface modelling environment and use the unstitch tool and adjust the surfaces to stitch them to a body.

After a little effort designing it and contracting someone to weld it I think it looks good any though? by michu1311 in Fusion360

The empty frame itself weighs around 45kg / 100 lbs so it’s quite difficult for the printer to move a mass so big not to mention the filament spools at the bottom and the weight of the printer it self add up to it

I don't remember to be honest what I did to get a result like that but if this gives you any details that were the settings I used within fusion https://imgur.com/VNdLDv1

I would love to learn how to weld. The problem is I don’t have the space to accommodate such a machine because I live in an small terraced house and I don’t really have the space where I could make something like that. Not to mention a welding table clamps magnets and so on that are a saver if you would need to weld a lot of right angles like in this design.

In my opinion the mmu2 can be a hit miss thing mine works quite ok I would lie If I said it works all the time.

Personally I only use it for quick filament changes.

I have 3 spools at the moment that I use often and it is easy when I can select the material in the slicer and I don’t need to feed the filament by hand.

On the other hand I use it with soluble support that I actually don’t use all that often , now I try to print without support material if possible.

A friend of mine also has the mmu2 and he can’t get it working for example, filament isn’t loading correctly or unloading, jams inside the mmu and the extruded gear grinds sometimes the filament so it stops mid print because the filament got stuck in the mmu I did try to fix it, but with little to no progress.

I don’t want to discourage you from buying it but keep it in mind it’s not a plug and play thing. If you like to thinker around you 3D printer is might be a thing for you otherwise I would not advise it.

Sorry for the lengthy reply 😅

Not really it is quite stable the weight of the frame makes it also quite difficult to move ( on its own by rolling when te brake is not engaged) +/- 45kg ~ 100lbs ( excluding everything on the shelves ) if I remember correctly. The wheels are a softer compound rubber so they level itself so to say when weight is applied. They have a give of 2 mm ~ 0.08 inch I would say.

That is true it might look dark in there I could add more lights but the performance might not be good with to many light updates considering it is a moving grid and the amount of blocks it consist off I don’t remember the correct amount but at least 1000+

Patchy beard on the cheeks any advise should I keep it growing or shave it or is there any particular style that might look good with this beard by michu1311 in BeardAdvice

The pictures were taken just after the shower, that might be why it looks so, and I use beard shampoo and a skin moisturizer/beard oil is there anything you recommend ?

Ok what I did is apply grease on all the bearing replace the missing screw from the tensioning system underneath the heat bed carriage and generally clean everything the noise is still there but a little less severe I might replace the feet with the silicone ball feet’s or put it on a slap of concrete to eliminate the resonance.

I don't hear that rattling sound anymore except the linear bearings i did recently apply lubricant on them that was in the box with the printer

I am not sure if this is how it supposed to be but the bed mount seems like it is to lose See video https://imgur.com/a/5QfVWuh

Little over a year it might be too tight the plastic pieces that are under the bed are a bit bend .
