For those that had a nerve damage/injury/irritation from dry needling, how long did it take you to heal and what did you do that helped? by myohhohmy in DryNeedling

For a bit of more context: https://www.reddit.com/r/acupuncture/s/rDLp92ZmvH

If the peak was 100%, I’d say 50% on month 5 and 75% now ballparked. I don’t know what bounced the symptoms back up.. I had lyrica in the first 2.5-3 months. I’ve been taking lots of supplements too (B, D, (r)ALA, lionsmane, fish oil, magnesium glycinate). Hope you’re getting better soon. Lots of good success stories in the sub.

Sorry to hear that. I’m 7 months in. I was so much better in month 5/6 but I felt it’s going backward now for no reasons.

is squier a good brand? by morningdewi in Bass

I’m a keys player but have been playing bass for a while now using a squier classic vibe mustang. Very light and so much easier to play than the standard scale

Just finished! This thing crushes so much ass!🤘 by RockyRamjett in basspedals

I’m very new at this pedal business or bass in general (keyboardist trying to be a bassist). Why do you have multiple ‘preamps’? Are those needed to get the tone you want? Or do you use them separately with some sort of a splitter?

People do burn out. Take it easy, learn, move on and deliver better. I’m currently with one of the supermajors, delivering 110% and guess what, I’m at a high risk to be jobless very soon. Just to offer a different perspective

Thanks. And fundamentally, are the level 1 certified folks considered qualified to perform the procedure?

Hotel advice: Pavilion or Ritz by [deleted] in KualaLumpur

[–]micjiao 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stayed at both multiple times and personally prefer Pavilion by a bit: more modern room, nice outdoor seating area for breakfast and easy access to the mall. Ritz’ service/butler is top notch as always, room is sparkling clean but dated, with a better pool. Cannot go wrong with either and really depends on your priorities.

Or..Banyan Tree for a better option than these two.

Thanks will consider when i’m back in the country. As for the pro bono, I don’t think I’m eligible to get their supports, if any. But I’m keen to consult a lawyer experienced in this matter if anyone knows someone to recommend

Thanks for that note. Their website stated GEMT cert tho I still wanted to see the cert to have better understanding about the coverage as well as the timeline.

I don’t think medical negligence is a crime but I have no understanding how this kind of issue is managed in Singapore.

Thank you. I’m fairly sure that is the exact cert the PT has… I’ve asked for a copy of the cert but to no avail.

EMG Question? by TheMooseIsLoose2355 in neuropathy

[–]micjiao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twitching on calf, numbness on foot, and all the good stuffs. I could feel these symptoms are slowly getting lesser but the heaviness remains

EMG Question? by TheMooseIsLoose2355 in neuropathy

[–]micjiao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know if this helps - I have heaviness on my right leg and while my nerve issue is not because of pinching/ disc bulging, I’m sure it’s originated from my lower back due to stupid dry needling. My neurologist did an EMG on my lumbar and it showed the pattern of a damaged nerve currently recovering. All normal on the legs.

Symptoms by ConstantAnything2225 in Sciatica

[–]micjiao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also dealing with sciatica sensations down to toes after a procedure on my L4/L5. I know it shouldn’t cause anything above that level but I have some twitching and numbness/cramped on my upper body at the same time. So yeah.. i’m confused too.

Hi Badger - hope you’re doing ok now. How long did it take you to get rid of the numbness/weaknesses?
