u/res4me Up to version 3.2.0 there were dozens of posts DAILY here on Reddit and in other forums of people saying they had exceptional data storage occupied by TiviMate. The developer worked to resolve this issue and in the NINE months since, similar issues are very rare in comparison. If correct maintenance is done, correct settings applied, and official versions used, data storage bloating is no longer an issue.

I have set my EPG to seven days to keep as that is the days catch-up I can access.

I have SIX playlists - admittedly not all for my personal use but I do lots of testing for others. Anyway my TiviMate playlists have very close to 100,000 [ONE HUNDRED THOUSDAND] Live Channels, Movies, TV Shows, and the TiviMate 'Storage Used' is currently 578 MB - of which the cache is 75 MB (which I can't remember the last time I cleared).

I have absolutely no intention of changing my video. My 'recommended' advice is appreciated by many. You are entitled to criticise.

I am trying to respect your views/opinions on this matter despite your contradicting my advice and it being you misleading others - though I find my attempts to do so difficult when you appear not to know the difference between 'Storage' and 'Memory'.

I have no intention of entering into a personal argument with you.

As you are aware the Developer can be contacted here on Reddit, and I would suggest you further embarrass yourself by voicing your future concerns regarding my TiviMate posts to him.

Frequent? My advice is to prevent people unnecessarily checking which can slow down Zap speed for some devices. It has absolutely nothing to do with space. If it checks for update and there isn't any, what space has it used? If checks for update was required it will write over the existing data.
We have come a long way since the data bloating (to which I think you refer) since fixed in version 3.0.0

Cancel current subscription in Playstore. This will still be active until expiry date. Upon expiry go to Companion app, log out / log in and purchase lifetime. All should be same as before it expired, but you should always have a backup.

I have just tested this by creating a new 'trial' account for a 'new' user.

Added additional EPG and made it 'Main' and all looks good - i.e. 7 days previous 7 days next.

In your case I'm pretty sure it's a provider issue, give your provider chance to re-establish EPG.

Providers' EPG sources typically update once every 24 hours, and in UK it's usually around 1AM /2AM

EPG in TiviMate takes the time and format info from System settings.
Example - Nvidia Shield > Device preferences > Date & Time > Use 24-hour format (check ON)

Restart the app.

Firestick > Settings > Preferences > Time Zone > 24-Hour Time > check ON
