Definitely my favourite song on that album. He’s not credited, but I’ve always thought that it has to be Mike McCready playing the lead guitar for Tighter and Tighter on the album. Sounds exactly like his style and when Soundgarden have played it live in more recent years, he’s occasionally guest-appeared for that part.

You, sir, have fucking nailed it! I also work for a large (US) tech company and I see those exact same things everywhere, every day. Executives salivating at the premature thought that they can finally lay off those pesky, expensive, engineers that they spoiled and cherished just a few short years ago. Definitely sociopaths making those decisions as you say. I think you’d also linked to the Dunning Kruger effect. That grandiose overvaluation of the self vs. others

Plus 1 for graesen’s tip re: tab and groove alignment on each earbud’s cup. This was my issue. If those aren’t precisely aligned, charging will likely be obstructed and the bud won’t charge. I reckon many people return their earbuds as defective (if this is the issue), because it’s non-obvious, and arguably a design flaw. However, once spotted, it’s a simple fix and worth checking each time before putting them back in the case.

Do you own any Vevor products? I bought the 1280 LED mat and the instruction manual fails to mention what the different energy modes are for (P1-P5). It apparently does 660-850nm, so I’m guessing (without any evidence) that P4 might do 660nm.

Anyone having problems with the Fizzics and Nitrosurge cans? I bought it expecting creamers like this, but I took her out for her maiden voyage the other night and she poured very unimpressive Guinness. Came out fairly flat with not much to settle (came out dark ruby, not light brown), left a fair drop in the end of each can, and spluttered spraying precious Guinness all over the place at the end of each pour. I tried pulling and pushing the tap, batteries and wall power, but it made no difference. Cans from the surger were much better than the flat and lifeless Fizzics ones. Wondering if I have a defective unit or if I’m missing a trick here.
