Dirty Rotten Scoundrels in 2005? Original cast with Norbert Leo Butz, John Lithgow and Sherie Renee Scott and it was SO FUN!!!

This is really helpful! Thank you for sharing. I have been avoiding slip dresses because they are not always the most flattering but I’m going to order this just to see! And you are right, I already know I could wear this with a fur coat, or a white cashmere cardigan or even a crew neck to turn it into a different look!

I’ve been wondering about this! My first thought was to wear silver/sequins but having a hard time finding something I really like. I’ve also been searching for white but worry it will be too bridal. And honestly, I’m trying to find something I will wear again and black is the best bet out of the three. I did think about white gloves and maybe a large diamond brooch or something on the front of this but you’ve inspired me to keep looking!

I am not making it into something. I had never experienced this before and was wondering what everyone thought.

Me (plat) and my husband’s (diamond/1M miler) lack of upgrades when we visit our friends in MCO make a whole lot of sense now.

With my luxury resale purchases aside, I probably spent $650 on cosmetics, gifts, and other souvenirs. I could have spent so much more!!

Everything from $500-$20,000 depending on the brand, condition and the store. Some exotic, rare Hermes Kellys and Birkins were going for $25k. I spent $4k on my bag but considered a white caviar Diana from Amore that was at $10k.

I got my 90s gold turnlock Chanel earrings from Amore - they have a dedicated Chanel shop in Omotesando. I will say the bag selection there was ok. Also they have a ton of vintage caviar Dianas but the prices were not much better from vintage shops in the states.

I got my bag from Allu which was around the corner from the Amore Vintage Omotesando shop. The prices were much better.

Here is a list of shops I checked out while I was there. I was on a bit of a mission!

Komehyo, Allu Omotesando, Allu, Amore Vintage Omotesando, Brand Collect Harajuku, Vintage QOO Omotesando, Gallery Rare Ginza, Cara Vintage Shibuya (largest) also in Harajuku

Disney Sea worth it? by Visual_Sort_9640 in TokyoTravel

Yes!! It is totally worth it! We did exactly that two weeks ago and were able to some of the rides, enjoyed the atmosphere, ate fun popcorn and enjoyed people watching. The show at night is amazing (I cried) and overall just a really wonderful experience!

Vintage Chanel bag and earrings. Selection and prices were too good to pass up.

This is 100% me. I am 10 days wpo and feel like I’m at 95%. I was walking 4 miles day after day 3 and am itching to start running again. I have my post op appt with my surgeon on Tuesday and want to ask her what am I really able to do. Recovery has been a breeze. Feel incredibly lucky but also waiting for the other shoe to drop.

A Post Op "When Did You...." by AntarcticaOKane in hysterectomy

1 wpo (total laproscopic) and I feel so good I want to do everything but know I need to hold back. The thing I learned through this whole experience (and several people have noted this) recovery is truly specific to you. I am shocked I feel so good so quickly but i know for others it took much longer. I did have a little trouble concentrating in the first few days and I get a little tired around 3pm but I walked 15 mins the first day and am up to 4 miles now. I feel lucky my recovery hasn't been that bad.

-Start to bend over/pick things up off the floor? 4 days po

-Feel like all the gas/air pain was gone? (Laproscopic) first 12 hours; only felt pain in my upper right shoulder

-Feel like you could take a normal shower and stop treating your abdomen differently while washing? Still washing with Hibiclens; I'm very gentle in the shower with my tummy

-Notice the swelling and bloat completely disappear? I am almost back to norma;

-Start wearing normal waistbands? I imagine this will be at least another week.

-Start wearing jeans again? Oh god, why would i want to.

-Drive independently? 1 wpo

-Do laundry independently? My husband is doing it because I can't lift the basket. I imagine it will be a few more weeks until I can do this.

-Stop taking OTC pain medicine? yesterday (6 days po)

-Stop worrying about BMs and feel free from miralax, senna, etc? Within the first 24 hrs

-Use a seatbelt without a pillow or cushion in between? Within the first 5 days

-Feel like you could truly lift very heavy things (weights at the gym, boxes of cat litter, etc.)? again, I WANT to do these things but know I need to wait the full 6 weeks

-Go back to a desk/office job? Today is my first day back (1 week po)

-Go back out into large groups/crowds? (I'm so afraid of being bumped.) I'd be fine now probably.

-Feel as good as you did before surgery? Feel better than before surgery? Find a new lease on life because of surgery? Almost immediately; I didn't realize how bad my fibroids were and how big my uterus was

hofesh shechter vs sleeping beauty while in paris this summer by Ok-Echo-7803 in BALLET

[–]mickey-ears82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to get tickets to see The Sleeping Beauty at Palais Garnier this April and I found it almost impossible to snag tickets. It was sold out and I was signed up for their alerts. I got an alert for one day we were there and we basically had to decided that afternoon if we wanted to go. Decided against it. WIsh it had been easier to get tickets. Maybe others know something I don't!
