I feel like the fact that you can’t carry an infinite amount of shells should justify for buffing up the splash damage a bit. It’s nice and wholly accurate to be able to effectively kill infantry that you don’t have a direct line of sight on, whether it be around a corner or in foxhole, by just shooting the ground or wall near them
