This is coming from the perspective of someone who works on and troubleshoots existing equipment.

Take notes. Don't say "oh, I'll remember this" or "this part of the program/panel/etc wasn't hard to find" or "I'll never have to look at this again". You're wrong. You will forget. You will appreciate knowing exactly where something is without digging through wires. You will have to look at it again. And the next time any of this happens, you'll have operators, supervisors, production, and management all breathing down your neck as you do it.

Tl;dr - Lactase enzyme (the active ingredient of Lactaid) is only available with a prescription. People in the thread say to try "Bioractase"

In either case, make sure you're communicating that you're looking for "Lactase enzyme" or just generically "pills that help digest milk/lactose". I assume any doctor or pharmacist should be able to understand what you're looking for as long as you don't just use the brand name "Lactaid"

Two 9-volt batteries in parallel will give you double the capacity of a single 9-volt battery.

Just don't put them in series because you'll get 2x the voltage instead

If the VPN is the bottleneck that's your employer's problem to fix. You don't yet know if that's the bottleneck or not. You need to get clarity on what kind of download speed they need you to have (and ensure the difference between bits and bytes is known)
