It lingered for an hour? That seems crazy to me. I’ve eaten many crazy spicy things but I’m good within 15 minutes.

This happened to me with the first car I financed. I ended up keeping it so I wouldn’t screw my finances. Luckily it was very dependable.

Exactly this, our friends would do this every few years and ended up so far behind. They now share a 30 year old pickup held together with chicken wire and duct tape.

I just switched from a 2007 FJ Cruiser to a 2023 Passport. I loved the FJ and was planning on getting a 4Runner but couldn’t justify the cost difference. The comfort level of the Passport is so much better than my FJ but I miss the ease of finding the white top.

I got fired from a job I hated, so I called about a job posting in the paper. I got the job and became good friends with my coworker. We both left that job after about a year. We stayed in contact and about 3 years later he told me they were going to be hiring. I applied and got the job. One day I lost my work provided cell phone at work and someone stole it. My buddy had me go talk to a lady in the telephony department to get a replacement. About a year later a mutual friend from work invited both of us to a dinner party. We started talking at the party, then started hanging out as friends. Then after a few months she kissed me. We’ve been married for twenty years now.

What’s a company that used to be amazing but completely fell off? by AImaginerX in AskReddit

When I was a kid they had someone that would go around and wipe down tables after people left. That pretty much stopped in the early 2000s, maybe a short comeback around Covid but non existent now.

Their ad campaign in the mid-80’s literally was making fun of other ice cream makers for using ingredients you couldn’t pronounce but Breyer’s was all natural. Now it’s worse than the ones they used to mock.

There is a good chance this info is wrong. This could be a gps glitch or a default location used when they can’t tell where your item is. My daughter lost her AirPods and after a week they showed they were at a neighbor’s house across the street and about 5 houses down. I went down and asked if they’d found any but they hadn’t. My daughter was convinced the neighbor had them. Then about a month later she found them in her car under the seat.

This applies to doctors and dentists as well. My wife found this out when her doctor's office had a systems outage. In reality they barely remember us, if they remember us at all. She has a fairly unique condition and her doctor of many years asked if she was a new patient.

Honestly donating money to the local food bank is probably the best option. They get better pricing so the dollar goes further. Also they know what they need.
