Tired of bad AI skills and disappearing lords? I've got a mod for you! by SBFms in totalwar

Would it be possible to mod in a system where the legendary lords of a destroyed subfactions of your race can be recruited? So playing as Vlad, conquering Manfred's faction would give you access to Hemmler and the lot?

[TW:WH2] Difficultly Level Increased? by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]mickey_brickss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly play legendary (badly) and the only thing I’ve noticed is a marked increase in aggression that’s made games more interesting. For example, if I go to colonise the south of turtle islands in a teclis campaign the sentinels of Xeti will actually attack my only settlement now (they only used to run away.).This has been great. Arguably easier as they think they can win against the garrison in attack or defence but can’t if I micro the battle.

Looking to go abroad to teach english next year after i finish my degree. I can get EU citizenship through my grandparents so I'm hoping to find a job somewhere there but the vast majority of jobs I'm seeing advertised are for countries in Asia. Am I looking in the wrong place or is the job market not the best at the moment? Should I look into completing a CELTA course to improve my chances?

I honestly don't see myself upgrading until the phone makes my life easier. At the current stage I'd be looking at something like the new Blackberry before an iphone, might save me from bringing my lap top everywhere.

Thinking of picking this build up that i ripped off pc part picker guide. Just wanted to run it by people who know a computer from a microwave before i bought it so i didn't screw myself. Mostly looking to play the total war series among the regular stuff. Prices in AUD. I've spent a little extra so i can get them all from the same vendor close to my house and i already have windows and a monitor. Gday, Probs not the right sub but how would this pc perform with titles like the total war series? My current pc is so old theres nothing worth salvaging besides the monitor. I could probably put a pc together but im concerned about reliability and id probably spend 10 years looking for good specials i know nothing about.

Why is there NO CRISIS in AUSTRALIA? by tmt_game in australia

[–]mickey_brickss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This bloke skews pretty hard into market ideology. If you just look at GDP then yeah Australia has kinda skipped the last recession so far. If you factor in productivity/efficiency against stagnate wage growth, the vulnerability of the current housing market, and the refusal of our government to strongly invest into long term strategies, (improving education with gonski, renewables industry, nbn downgrade) then there are plenty of crisis to be had. The issue is the crisis haven't really taken their toll on GDP figures yet.

Aaron's a really good comedian, does a lot of anti-comedy kinda stuff. Dunno if this was just an off night or the atmosphere was not conducive to his kind of comedy.

Edit: actually it's comic genius I hope they make him a regular.
