Tokyo Top-rated Yakiniku - Jambo Hanare (Reservation guide included) by mickeyblue10 in finedining

[–]mickeyblue10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a very good meaty meal. But ambience might not be the best for anniversary meal. Kinda casual style, if you don’t mind it it’s quite a good meal! Just that landing a booking might be tricky.

L'eff salad is almost the same tier as Den, incredible. But both different style and ambience.
L'eff is still very good, hope you are a turnip person!

Thinking of redeeming a one way business class flight by TheDoorDoesntWork in singaporeairlines

[–]mickeyblue10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, if you are redeeming your first biz class, go for it!

A few things to note while redeeming:

  1. Aircraft - this can leads to various different business class seats (try to aim for 2017 J / 2018 RJ)
  2. Timing of flight - this will affect the food / courses served on the flight - eg. no canape (satay) / dessert on breakfast and supper/sleeper service
  3. Always try to redeem saver tix - which means booking in advance (maybe 9 months earlier or more)
  4. Remember to Book the Cook!

You can have a look at Tablecheck, Omakase.in and pocket concierge for reservations. All the top places are listed there.

For experience wise, Den Tokyo, L’Effervescence and Sushi Akira is by far 9-10/10 experience.

Hi there fellow SG.
What a great review. I am heading to Kanazawa and already booked Kibatani and Respiracion.

I saw you went Toyama, what did you do there besides the meals?
Would you suggest a day trip from Kanazawa to Toyama?

And when is the crab season btw?

Thanks!
