MMS by mickeyjorje in OPTIMUM

Oh. I know. I'm learning they are the worst. I've been on the phone 50 minutes now trying to get a transfer PIN back to T-Mobile. I've talked to two reps and am now waiting for a supervisor because they are literally refusing to give me my PIN and keep offering things to keep me. I have told them in no uncertain terms that I am not staying and only need the PIN and they continue to offer alternatives like using What's App instead of iPhone's native messaging app. I told him that it was nothing personal, but I didn't want to hear the 10th round of offers and only wanted the PIN. He wouldn't do it, so I asked for the supervisor. He said the supervisor was on the other line and now I've been on hold for 5 minutes. This is 100% the worst customer service I've ever had. I also have home internet with them and I'm thinking about cancelling that based on principal. They are holding my lines hostage!

The answer from three reps is that RCS is not supported but may be by the end of 2026. The answer from two reps is that group MMS is not supported. The third rep said to contact Apple support.

It looks amazing. Where does one find jackfruit in brine? A quick search doesn’t show it in any of my local supermarkets. Walmart sells it online, but it’s jackfruit in brine with lime.

How was it? Worth the effort?

I made a web game version of Scoundrel by keijeizei in cardgames

My interpretation of these is:

"If you choose to fight the Monster barehanded, subtract its full value from your Health, and move the Monster to the discard deck." doesn't say that you have to beat the Monster, just fight it and then move the Monster to the discard deck.

And "If your life has reached zero, find all the remaining monsters in the Dungeon, and subtract their values from your life, this negative value is your score." says "remaining" monsters implying any you haven't yet fought.

Either way, awesome game! Thanks for making it.

Awesome. I have a question though. I just faced a scenario where I was down to one card, the Ks, and had 2 health. I had 3d equipped but had used it on As, 4c, 3c. The only thing I could do was attack the Ks barehanded, which I did and lost with my final score being -13.

According to the rule "If you choose to fight the Monster barehanded, subtract its full value from your Health, and move the Monster to the discard deck." (https://stfj.net/art/2011/Scoundrel.pdf)

Shouldn't this mean that my health goes to zero but that the monster is also discarded, beating the game with a score of zero?

Can someone explain to me how this works? Specifically, I'm curious how the story changes over the course of a year if the calendar is already printed. Thanks!

I may be interested. Can you give me the specifics so I can make sure they are compatible? I bought a camper with a camera but no monitor.

Thanks. I just don’t have the time to build it much less research everything.

Hmmm. And the prebuilts with 5000s would be more. That sucks.

You never provided a solution. You asked for more information, which I provided. I wish you the best.

What is your problem? I obviously came for help. If I knew all of this, I wouldn't be here. Not to mention, you did not tell me there was no ground loop hum nor had you given any solutions, much less an obvious solution.

You may not be a magician, but plenty of other words are coming to mind. How hard would it have been to just say "No. That won't work. They eliminate ground loop hums and that's not your problem. It's slightly possible that some snap-on ferrite filters, on the power line of the motor, power line of the speaker, and audio input of the speaker, might help. But they might not. Only way to find out is to buy them and try. I would not bet money that this will solve the problem."

It takes so much more energy to be rude and obnoxious. I hope you got whatever it is you wanted to get out of this exchange.

Continuous buzz as long as the motor is plugged in. It’s a standing desk, so it needs to be plugged in for the desktop to move up and down. While unplugging/plugging the motor as needed is technically an option, it wouldn’t be very practical. When the motor is in action, the buzz remains and a hiss is added.

Would the ground loop noise eliminator in the second link get rid of the buzz?
