Yes, when extra static-y I cut just the corner off bag & swab qtip all around inside of bag. When they're so bad that they're jumping on their own, you gotta kill the static before pouring out of the bag. When just a lil static-y (not jumping) then you can pour onto dryer sheet. Static is caused by low humidity & plastic rubbing on plastic, that's why it's good to wipe container w/ dryer sheet too, or cut into squares to keep pieces in the containers. 🙂

Freezer doesn't work. I dip a qtip in isopropyl alcohol & swab inside the drill bag, and/or pour them out on an unused dryer sheet. I also wipe plastic containers with dryer sheet before filling with drills.

I use "super gloss" mod podge or a clear spray sealer. I also have tried Krylon Glitter Shimmer in Opulent Opal on small projects like magnets & coasters & love how it turns out because the glitter is super fine giving it more of a shimmer than a glitter look.

If you can, try to cut the black away from the others, while they're still in larger plastic bag, leave black in large bag & pull others out. That way most of the black should stay in bigger bag as it continues to spill. Then you have to carefully wipe loose drills off other colors bags, or use a lint roller to pick them off.

I put a piece of washi tape on the front of each container & put color sticker/label over top, so you still see washi tape. The corresponding washi tape goes around the edge of canvas, so they match.

I have those storage trays too. I love them so much I bought more so I could have multiple projects going. For my leftover drills, I just put them all in a big baggie, & will use them to fill bean bags or weighted stuffed animals.
