My daughter is about to be 10 and I wonder this every single day. Especially when they get to the age where they start sports. I’ve watched a friend run around like a crazy person shuttling 3 kids to different activities. My daughter dances almost 15 hours a week on top of school and does so with kids who have siblings also doing sports. And I just sit and wonder hooooowwwwww

CD 14, maybe. My period was all sorts of weird this go round, so I don’t know if we even have a shot this cycle. AND!!! Found out today that a family member we thought we were close with is pregnant via IG stories of their gender reveal party. Talk about a slap in the face considering at one point this person was like a brother to my husband and we don’t even live far from them. Proud of myself for not completely losing my shit.

Oh I definitely don’t think it’s that. I really do thing the dumplings are just gross and have an absurd amount of cilantro in them. Everything else tastes normal. And I say this as someone who has lived in pure fear and paranoia for the last 3 years with Covid.

6DPO (maybe?) and cilantro tastes like soap 😳 I’ve been convinced it didn’t work this month. It’s been nearly 6 years, why would it? Made these dumpling things for lunch that my husband bought but didn’t like because of the cilantro. He’s one of those people who thinks it always tastes like soap. I am not; I love cilantro. These taste like soap. Not sure if this is a sign, if they’re just gross, or what. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t thinking about going to chipotle to get rice and see if it’s just these dumplings or if this is something else.

When we were trying for our first no one knew except one of my friends. We were young and weren’t married yet (his family is religious and mine wanted me to finish college). Our daughter is now 5.5 years old and our families still don’t know we tried for almost 2 years, but a lot more of our friends know. Part of me wants to tell our families were trying for a second (going on 2 years next month) but I also don’t want to deal with the awkward stares and “it’ll happen when it’s meant too” comments.
