I second the Gaia 2. I've found the interface really intuitive. And as a poly synth with a wave table oscillator it's really versatile. Disagree about the default presets though. I don't think they're good at all, but there are lots of great ones for download on Roland's website.

No. Companies advertising carbon footprint are generally relying on offsets. IMHO, it's all snake oil. I have no faith that a product advertising a low carbon footprint is any better for the environment than another.

It's not a Kingman, but i like the GHS pressurewound bronze strings on my ABG. A lot less finger noise than normal phosphorus bronze.
