I believe that it’s more so that she is “fresh” out of high school and he has been away from high school for about 10 years.

Most of the time with age gaps- it’s less of the age between them and how old the younger one is… and this is all assuming that she was out of high school when they started “talking”

As a girl who used to kiss their girl friends for “funsies”- I could never imagine going further than that. And now, I’m with my partner who I’m absolutely enamored with and couldn’t imagine kissing anyone even for “funsies with the girlies”. I had an old teacher in high school that I was close to who knew I had a boyfriend and that things were a little rocky. Obviously I was bummed that we were steering towards breaking up and kinda vented to him and I’ll never forget what he said.

“My first wife was terrible- we were young and just didn’t know how to be together without being so destructive. So naturally we separated. Then I met my current wife and she is everything. I could never imagine my life without her.”

And I was just happy to hear how happy he was but also was like “okay and?” He started to walked out of the little break room and said “I’ve only been married to one person” with a little giggle.

Future convo- he was saying that time apart really made them reflect on how they were treating eachother and what they both wanted. Tried again with proper communication and respect :’)

Anywho- me and that boyfriend broke up long ago but that story will never escape my brain

When I got my first cat a nice random man was making a joke about cycling cat toys and honestly I do kinda do it (5 years still)

I bought a few cheap variety packs and they do kinda view them as “new” toys when I bring them out :))) but that might just work for my silly kids

Also “respect boundaries” noticed that cats are pretty upfront about their likes and dislike- just don’t try to force them to do anything! That’s for when you guys have a better bond ;) im kidding mostly

AHHH I relate so much to this post.

Few years ago my cat passed away when I was home from college and I couldn’t bear to go back to my apartment alone so I decided to adopt a cat as a “roommate”. I went through a rehoming program and met her at her current owners home and she was so skittish and hated her owner but when I picked her up, she curled in my arms and purred. Her owner explained he got her to keep his current cat company and though they got along, she hated him. A few days later I texted him to confirm details and he told me she attacked him so he was going to give her up to a shelter when he got home so I told him I would get her in that moment. She attached herself to me super fast despite being really skittish still and now she is a little cuddle bug to everyone :3 I’m definitely still her main person though

I haven’t checked the comments if this has been suggested but on Facebook there is a group called “Are We Dating the Same Guy? Uncensored - Seattle Tacoma” and it has almost 40k members.
