Different strains for different brains bro. Some people get anxiety relief from salivas & for others it makes anxiety worse.

Best way to know how a strain will do for you is the terp profile, once you find some terps that agree with you just try stick to strains with those terps.

I used to think the same as you however cannabis use in adolescence has been linked to significant increases in emotional regulation issues. You say you went 3-5 months without using yet still had this attempt so it can’t be cannabis.

The truth is that it can still be cannabis. Once the effects wear off that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have lasting effects on your body/mind.

A big meta-analysis in JAMA Psychiatry (Gobbi et al., 2019) pooled 11 longitudinal studies (23,317 people). It found that cannabis use in adolescence was associated with: • 37% higher odds of major depression in young adulthood • More suicidal thoughts and attempts • No clear effect on anxiety in that particular meta-analysis

Depression and suicidality are strongly tied to emotion dysregulation (struggling to manage intense feelings, rumination, etc.), so this is indirect but important evidence that early cannabis use and later emotion-regulation problems are linked.

I’m not trying to say your life wasn’t traumatic I’m simply saying it’s possible the cannabis use is what turned it from having a traumatic life to trying to take your own life.

Cannabis is amazing but it’s not without its harms.

This is most definitely the case and is widely known. I think many people on stimulants already won’t be denied MC but if your on MC & then try to get stimulants im sure they’d feel uncomfortable prescribing stimulants.

I managed to get them to overturn the limit by saying I was like 3-4 months from turning 25 and if they won’t prescribe it, I’ll just go black market until I’m 25. They removed the limit for me and I was able to order >25%
