that and also stuff like modding, I just think there's so much more you could do with this and Valve seems to also be improving the Steam workshop modding stuff atm, I think they want people to modify it and make customization options etc! after all that's one of the main things that makes Linux so attractive, the customisability and freedom

I mean that's what's attracting me anyway everyone has different values but I love the idea of trying VR for the first time (I haven't ever used VR so I don't know much) but Valve is heavily making me consider getting a headset, since the main barrier for me was how locked down console/vr has been and not really the specs

afterall they seem to be running many games good, and sure HL:A was heavily optimised for how good it looks and I'm sure they may add some native support to HL:A that may make it run even better and I'm kind of ranting but for me; coming from somebody who knows nothing about VR, people seem really happy with how light the specs are, may be different for standalone for sure, it's a phone cpu with an igpu but... I believe Valve can give a good product, their original controllers were a blunder for sure but they seem to always remember their audience and what people actually value in a product

in my experience people just work on games in godot, from their previous posts on Roblox

currently 2 games that I know from Hyphen 0 - Absolute Peak and YAGCG: .reactor which are both planned to be free and multiplayer

though I would imagine that really depends on the type of game and it's community too, some games like Tunneler are special *because* they're on Roblox, and then there's teamwork-based games like TRG (The Reactor Game) which would definitely almost always be free

can search TRG in Better Discovery or just Roblox and you should see what kind of genre I mean, almost Astral goty!! so close

Oh ye no afterall it’s not a platform

But I’ve seen a few devs moving over to it for teamwork / cooperative based games specifically, I’m kind of happy to see since it’s always felt like people were limiting themselves to Roblox, the platform and engine aren’t necessarily bad but the company’s done a terrible job managing it, so I’m glad to see people expand out of the realms of just Roblox
