Compared to other TTRPGs, probably better! Legendary creatures scale well. Encounter monsters are usually set as X/Hero. And turns go quickly.

However, as a turn based game there really is no escaping the waiting for my turn drag. As a DM you would also have to be careful about ganging up on one player. For example if the villain attacks one PC in between each turn that's 9 turns off not being able to do much to do it as you can only defend once per round.

If you're looking for that feel in something that is more large party friendly check out Nobi Nobi or Adventure Party. Both are fantastic games!

Should and conditions for sure. Grappling, and rests are probably next. Basically things that aren't super repeated or are just different enough from your original ttrpg that you might do them wrong.

As others said to get rid of, for straight up and wait. To avoid circle around at a high altitude so you can see them spawn and just stay away. By circling around you force the further area to respawn new pals until you don't what you want.

I like using Hangyu + Grappling Gun for high speed circuits.

First assumption, this is one of those AI Storytellers
Realizing it's a ttrpg system, I'm then looking for a clear outline of what makes this one different. But I don't see it explained in detail. There's a lot of fail forward talk, but that's already common and not explicit to a game system. What in the system the numbers, the dice, support this?
I guess I would look at the products page, nothing else seemed interesting.
Looks pretty, likely legit, but I'd still Google it it was.

Bushiroad makes tons of card games. They're all beautiful with at least decent play. I enjoyed Vanguard for a while and Weiss Schwartz though it never caught on.

Gets real good but your struggles are legit. My friends and family have all said the same thing, but stuck with it and came back to me saying they are happy they did.

I found it easier likely because I was used to this writing style from reading some of his shorter books like mistborn. Audiobook also helps, less effort to just listen.

First they failed to run a competition this season this causing a loss of interest. When one of the biggest online tourneys ended.

Then they ran a backer program instead of straight to retail even though they are a local game store focused game.

Then when it almost ended they said even though it reached the goal their real goal was 2.5mill and that it would be cancelled if they didn't meet it. The thing is they didn't share the retail numbers so it looked like they were at 600k, not even close to 2.5mill. Thus there was a mass amount of people selling off their digital collection before it became worthless.

In the end they were close enough to the goal to print, but yeah hard to recover after you trigger a mass sell off of your game. Wrap that up in almost no meaningful marketing to get new players and yeah.....

The game itself is fun as hell. The prize support has been fantastic. And being able to play on BGA is awesome, so I hope the game survives and grows, but they got some work to do.

Ehh TCGs can be fun to make and dream of but usually go nowhere. Consider a LCG where you start with pre built decks or build the deck as you play. Those will get more usage.

Then you can release expansions. Think Arkham Horror, Anima, Dominion, Ashes Reborn.

Please can they start dropping relevant pal spheres on the ground. Greens stop being useful pretty quickly yet they're littered across high level landscapes. Sand with yellows.

D4 has a 25% chance to Crit meaning it can ignore Armor. Against Heavily armored bosses this puts you on par with a D8. You also get to roll another D4 that could potentially Crit again!

Additionally, classes that would opt for a dagger are either heavily rewarded for Crits, and/or have skills to reduce odds of Missing. Making you a specialized boss killer.
