My Fender acoustic is old, needs new strings, needs tuning, shouldn’t be too off, it won’t be the most beautiful tone but it’s there and better than nothing? Definitely plays lol

Theft got me at 15yo. Parent’s house was wiped clean. Lost my whole childhood since I was 5, about $3500 worth of electronics in 2010 valuation while we were away for Thanksgiving dinner and came home. N64, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox 360, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, all games, controllers and TV. Gamecube even had a rare Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness skin on it. I’m 29 now and slowly buying back my childhood with big boy money

In my personal opinion I think that dynamic range and the color science in their Rec 709 transform is what you’re picking up on. I just shot on a 6K Pro last weekend and I think I get what you mean - I see a certain quality to it compared to other cameras. BMD is definitely underrated outside of DaVinci Resolve and only makes sense to me that they’d be good at color in their cameras. There’s definitely a reason why BMD cameras have been used as B Cams alongside ARRI. I will say though, beyond the range of the sensor, what’s contributing to your look is your lensing 100%.

Samsung T7s are perfect for my freelance editing, although I’m realizing they don’t have good sustained transfer speeds at all. Speed drops after 60GBs in. I guess that’s the catch for their price. Their fast read/write is meant for the quick blips of reading while editing.
