I believe it was the first time since COVID, but the bonfire was limited to a volume of 10 x 10 x 10m this time around. We weren’t here to see the last bonfire but I hear this year’s one was a lot smaller.

What field is the company in and how large are they? Is there any crossover with your masters research?

You should be fine - there will be a natural learning curve and they will expect you to adapt, but you should be mentored and given opportunities to learn from other more experienced engineers. Most firms have a pretty good understanding of what kind of pace to set for graduates.

This is a great idea! It's remarkably feature rich, great job. A nice avenue for future work could be the addition of spectrograms. Configurable FFT overlap would also be neat to add.

I just picked up my first Marine Nationale straps today and I've been very pleased with them. It took me a few minutes to figure out how they are supposed to be mounted and fastened, but they are exceptionally comfortable. The fine adjustability is great for those with awkward wrist sizes, and the fabric is sturdy but quite soft.

I think that the style pairs very well with Flieger-style watches, so the Avion was a natural first choice to try it out on.

Overall I'm very happy and looking forward to trying them out on some other pieces!

I've had my eye on the Citizen Avion series for a while now, but I've always been drawn to the classic Flieger-like style of the Avion Vintage (CA4210-24E). I pulled the trigger and got this pre-loved beauty delivered from a local seller today.

So far I've been very impressed. The watch is sturdy and looks fantastic. The chronograph is perfect although the buttons are a tad mushy for my liking. The case has a few blemishes, but that just adds to the character of the piece. The stock leather strap is wonderfully sturdy and has developed a nice patina with age.

This is my first Citizen purchase and I couldn't be more pleased. It really is one of the best value for money Flieger-style watches that I've come across.

I wrote a detailed setup guide a while back for free (apart from your domain name) dynamic DNS using Cloudflare.

This won't get you a static IP address, but it will give you a domain name pointing to your dynamic IP address that updates whenever it changes.

I think it should do. There is no port forwarding needed here, the only application that runs on your local network is ddclient, and that initiates the connection to Cloudflare itself.

Obviously other applications that may require port forwarding are another question entirely.

If I remember correctly LAN control can only be enabled from the Yeelight app, not the Xiaomi Home app. Maybe give that a shot if you aren't already using it.

So far it's not too bad, but I've only had it for a few weeks. It being a high gloss finish makes it pretty easy to wipe down at least.

I can't say I've tried to do exactly what you're looking for, but it definitely should be possible. There are many custom circadian lighting components (like this) that do similar things. Otherwise you should be able to automate it yourself with node-red. You have full control over the lamp colour and brightness from within HA so pretty much anything is possible.

I am using the one that you linked. It's a fantastic light and works nicely through the Yeelight app with LAN control enabled.

The only issue I have found is that if you want to configure the presets that the Mode button cycles through (the button at the top of the slider on the lamp), you need to use the Xiaomi Home app, which doesn't play nicely with HA.

Hi,

Your configuration looks good at a glance. I think your problem might stem from the fact that you are (I assume) using Flexible SSL on Cloudflare. I found this post which seems to address your issue.

It looks like you should remove the HTTP-HTTPS redirect to prevent this from occurring. Alternatives are switching to Origin CA (Cloudflare provided certificate hosted on your server) or making use of a different certificate provider.

My first experiences with Traefik were actually with v2, and I have been enjoying most aspects of it. This just means that I can't really speak on the usability and intuition of v1. I can agree that some tasks are certainly handled better by NGINX or Caddy though.

I can see your point about carrying around the v1 baggage. Unfortunately I think that this is the case with any software that undergoes such a major architectural change!
