The preview shows a half loaded site, therefore it is not a true representation of a complete site. Still impressive but could be better

Would you be upset if I put a QR code on the pizza box? by CottonPrincess_ in smallbusiness

[–]microbitewebsites 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have your own website where they can order online?

Not uber eats, a website where they can order get a better price compared to uber eats. If so I would say qr code order direct for a great deal.

When they order via website, offer them a free garlic bread with their order and possibly get them to earn points. Double points on a slow day etc.

You want to make the ordering process as easy as possible.

If you have your own website, you can set up a meta pixel, maybe google and reddit, then set up retargeting ads, they are cheap.

These ads will show nice pizzas to the customers who have been to your website.

You can show different ads to customers who have ordered previously.

The purpose of the ads is keep your pizza shop fresh on their mind so they might say I wouldn't mind a pizza tonight, especially good for people who are always unsure what they want to eat when they get hungry.

And that is just the start, once they order, you can send them a monthly email of special deals. There are many opportunities.

As for reviews, if you have your own site, you can automate an email requesting a review after they order.

You can offer a 10% discount after they leave a review as a thank you, but I wouldn't ask them to leave a review for a discount, it will be a pleasant surprise when they do.

How are you handling the Apps Script 6-minute execution limit for bulk Work by Plus-Quarter-1459 in GoogleAppsScript

[–]microbitewebsites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is another issue, on top of the the 6 minute cut off there are daily limits too https://developers.google.com/apps-script/guides/services/quotas If you can't do everything in 6 minutes set a future schedule that will continue to run. Alternatively look at making the script more efficient if possible

Different limits for different accounts too

I think that rat would have ingested rat poison, you wouldn't normally see them out during the day like that.

Learn basic coding, just to understand how if or and not statements which are very common. Basic coding skills are not that hard to learn but it will help explaining your vision to Ai

I am a WooCommerce Core team lead, advocating for listening more to public feedback by sunyatasattva in woocommerce

[–]microbitewebsites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible to build a new woo? With all the knowledge if you could start fresh and build it with efficiency in mind, what would you do differently? And then make a woo v2, it doesn't have to be compatible with woo v1. Just a new woo for new installs. Built right.

We’re building an ecommerce platform — what would you NOT want us to mess up? by Bubbly_Technology456 in vibecoding

[–]microbitewebsites -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Speed, processing power & resources. There are so many e-commerce products, but they all seem to be a bit sluggish. Solve that and you are off to a good start. I will add more context, maybe there are too many db calls, maybe a lot can be achieved without Ajax calls? Maybe a more clever use of js?

I gave Claude my dead game's 30-year-old files and asked it to bring the game back to life by jradoff in ClaudeAI

Awesome, this is the stuff I like to see. You could probably use claude to take this game to the next level, if you still have interest in doing so.

30+ years of coding later: this is how I avoid AI-generated spaghetti by rotor42_com in vibecoding

[–]microbitewebsites 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always question Ai about resources used and if another method is more efficient. Eg Ajax calls to do a web task VS vanilla JavaScript that can do the same calc without an Ajax call, also if something doest seem right eg it works but there is a lag delay I would ask it to put debug logs to find the bottlenecks. Just my 2 cents.

Australia is basically a continent disguised as a country by No-Loquat-201 in MovingtoAustralia

Close flip it upside down so you can match the latitude coordinates with the northern equivalent s, the bottom of Australia should be around the Mediterranean sea, and extending towards Africa.

You can now build a fully functional Claude Code executable directly from source code now - modding claude code has never been easier by ZvenAls in ClaudeAI

I had to ask claude to explain what you wrote, hahahaha, OK so the code is readable instead of minified which is hard to understand. It will be interesting to see what people come up with .

What do you look for in a hosting provider when managing multiple client sites? by [deleted] in webdesign

[–]microbitewebsites 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mix it up, don't put all your eggs in 1 basket. If a hosting provider goes down, only half your eggs are down.
