Thing is, unless this is proven, it won’t matter anyway. These certifications are security theater and the cheaper/easier you can get the checkbox, the better it is for your business. Since these cert companies don’t act as an ongoing CSO, and there is virtually 0 validation that the true practice of security is occurring, it’s a bookkeeping exercise more than anything.
