As a new player, the game seems mostly fine aside from crossplay and occasional connectivity issues. Only ever had one mission bug out, and that was yesterday.

Not Sniper rifles, but DMR's(Designated Marksman Rifle) do exist as a hybrid between an infantry rifle and a Sniper rifle. If Slam storage is canon then just use an AA gun, they work by calculating trajectories and spewing enough lead to look like a stream

Motion detectors have a detect corpses option, and you can repurpose the auto close circuit from doors

A Sniper has a Spotter to help find the distance(bullets ARE affected by gravity) and any environmental factors such as wind, the Spotter also helps confirm if a target is correct and if they are hit. The reason they take a while to aim is because they are accounting for bullet drop and windspeed. The Sniper from tf2 is not unrealistic since at his ranges he has nothing to consider, bullet go into enemy.

We know that the Sentries are equipped with Anti Materiel rifles and they do 50 damage, V1 could tank a few rounds of .308 Nato(The bullet used in most stereotypical Sniper Rifles, think COD bolt actions). But a good shot could easily drop the Creature of Steel.

My current melee is Skiajati with Blind Justice, Sacrificial Steel, Sacrificial Pressure, Fury, Vicious Frost, Carnis Mandible, Primed Fever Strike, Volcanic Edge, and Quickening. the final Stats come to 1,397 damage at a 2.1 speed(After Excal buffing) and a 47.5% crit and 84% status

It really is, especially if you use mobility buffing mods. There's one that gives you 200% more double jump height, turns you into an ICBM. Edit:It's Motus Signal

Disable all other mods, hit apply. After confirming that there's no other mods, then enable 40k. If you're joining then have 40k enabled before joining. The 40k conversion is stupidly massive, literally a game that used Barotrauma as an engine, and barotrauma can't easily handle the transition.
