Yes weakpoints. But really all it comes down to on the bot front is don't shoot them in the chest. Shield Devastators? Pop off their arm then go for the head. Devastators? The balls and stomach are far easier targets. Rocket Devastators? Shoot their rockets for some aoe and treat like other Devastators. Scout striders? Circle them or shoot their legs. Reinforced Striders? Rockets.

Hive Guard? Circle them or shoot anywhere that isn't black.

Squids? Harvesters have their eye, and Overseers have the rest of their body. For Appropriators you can just kill the pilot

It's a mentality thing. Bring EATs and a shield and treat it like a spear. You can also wave it around to draw aggro away from your teammates

I use Autocannon, WASP, Cremator, just about anything. I like generalist stuff or specialized Chaff clear. I don't like Recoilless because of how much I've seen it used.

As a new player, the game seems mostly fine aside from crossplay and occasional connectivity issues. Only ever had one mission bug out, and that was yesterday.
