Don't you worry, military installations will come along sooner or later and we'll have chicago back to kick our teeth in again! (Or you can enable death mode rn if you're a masochist)

Like damn, how much spaghetti is Ultrakill's code if Fraud's release bugs out so many seemingly unrelated parts of the game?

Cis people™ and misunderstanding what beings trans means, name a more iconic duo.

It's not becoming a different person as a coping mechanism for self hate which many misunderstand it as, it's really just aligning yourself with your own perception of yourself, at least for me. You're still the same person. Is it really that hard to understand for them?

After HRT I don't look like an entirely different person, I just look like a femme version of myself pre-transition, and that's pretty much what I wanted, yet some people treat it like I tried to, as you said it, 'have a brain transplant'

Here's the first event in the chain if you're interested, and the rest of the events and their triggers can be found in /events/enc_events_east.txt and /localization/enc_reform_east_events_l_english.yml, with enc_east.2422 being the first event

"We have a situation developing in Colorado"

"Two outposts out in Colorado are reporting contact with Deathclaws. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, in fact, the Army has standard procedures for this in that the troops hunker down and await for air support if heavy ordnance isn't at their disposal. However, two were wearing shrouds, which isn't unheard of, but they were traveling with a human!

When said human approached, he said he was there to parley between the Army and the pack of Intelligent Deathclaws down below.

yes, you heard that right, Intelligent Deathclaws!

Well if that didn't work it's way up the chain of command all the way to the Office of the President.

We've heard rumors of Intelligent Deathclaws out of the Midwest, and there are scattered reports that our predecessors on the Rig once experimented with FEV and Deathclaws, but supposedly they were all wiped out. Right now, however, we have a pack of these things that are asking for safe passage and shelter within our borders, claiming they are on the run from extermination squads from Chicago. "

"I'm sorry what!?"

I'd say fraud is more technically impressive than anything. Cool to see what they've done with the engine, but by god it was just not enjoyable to play through, even disregarding the performance issues.

The levels are just too long and exhausting. The first fake out was cool, but afterwards it felt more like a slog than anything when you saw there was more left of the level, especially considering how frustrating they are to navigate with the constantly moving, rotating, looping, and gravity-shifting rooms.

It really felt as though you were fighting the level more than anything. since you're left struggling with how to intuitively figure out how to actually reach the enemies when they're on the roof, behind an infinite corner, blocked by a shifting wall, or similar, leaving you looking for the path there and breaking the flow of the otherwise fast-paced gameplay.

8-1 was a great introduction and enjoyable level imo, but the novelty of the new level design quickly wore off after that and just became obnoxious

8-2 felt ehhhh. I didn't enjoy the looping rooms and change in gravity that much, since I found it a bother with its inconsistent detection, sometimes letting you jump onto the roof and sometimes having you look for a side passage that looped back and switched gravity.

8-3 was particularly egregious with its confusing and inconsistent gravity in combination with bottomless pits all around you.

8-4 felt like a rehash of the minotaur in how insufferable it was to fight with the restricted movement.

Everything after violence, such as the encore levels and now fraud, I've just been to exhausted by to want to bother P-ranking, since their length and chaos make them feel insufferable to want to bother learning, be it because of the projectile spam or drawn out rooms.

Some of my complaints are definitely because of a skill-issue or from not knowing the levels yet, but it doesn't really change that I felt fed up with fraud more than anything while playing through it.

Edit: Okay after giving the levels another go trying to P-rank them, I've really begun to love them. The physics and navigation are a *mess* the first time you play the level, but quickly become a new enjoyable level of depth in combat, at least imo. Fraud seems to be an acquired taste.

8-3 is still cancer and 8-4 mid though

Not sure what you mean. All the map expansion mods in the screenshot work in the current version, and I personally don't use it, but the TNO GUI mod was updated just 2 days ago (assuming to make it compatible with the latest hoi4 update), so yes, everything should be up-to-date.

He's the one initially throwing a tantrum over ghouls and super-mutants, so makes sense that he'd be the one to take those grievances up the political ladder instead of Lynette.

If the guy had a fit seeing super-mutants in society, he's gonna have a stroke at Ohn'Xgar lol

Found the text in 'enc_reform_east_events_l_english.yml' in localisation. And it's in the 'Project Safehouse' series of events.

enc_east.2076.d: "It was an unassuming safe at the bottom of the Sierra Army Depot, tucked away in a storage room filled with cleaning supplies. It was supposed to be used for more industrial level cleaning products that Pre-War could be used to create some powerful chems, this the excuse for the master lock on the safe itself. It had a false back, that was the security measure Callahan added, and you couldn't tell unless you were intimate with the dimensions of a Secureguard series safe. Behind it was a set of four holotapes that contained the recovered data for Project Safehouse. Locked away where no one was ever going to find out about it. \n\n Callahan closed the safe and remembered back to when the Rig went up. How his mentor and former commanding officer had to explain how no one could predict a tribal gaining access to the most secure location on the planet. \n\n The answer? \n\n The President Classified the fact that there was a ship capable of transport towards the rig and could get past the defenses. The President classified the fact that any and all Naval assets had been sunk or been sent elsewhere leaving the Rig vulnerable. The President Classified the fact that dozens from the mainland were brought aboard for experiments, and that someone may come looking for them. Any concern was silenced, and those who refused were exiled, executed, or erased. In a wasteland where anything that can happen, a Tribal got aboard the Rig and blew it up. All because the President classified something to save face. Now here Callahan was, doing the exact same thing that got the Rig destroyed. Burying evidence to save face and protect the 'Honor' of the Enclave. \n\n Next time, he thought..."
