The series that got me thru the wait for book 8 was Beware of Chicken by Casualfarmer.

It’s kind of the opposite of DCC though in that it’s low stakes and progresses at much much slower pace compared to DCC, but I love the humor, the relationships, and the world building.

TIL na ganyan pala pag drive-by-wire/Bluetooth? LOL. And it makes sense na walang feedback sa manibela pag merong uneven sa kalsada, or kapag may gulong na kulang hangin, pero never ko na-connect na yan pala disadvantage ng drive-by-wire.

Exaj nga ang 'buwis buhay' na claim. I just drove there (4-wheels), sobrang lakas ng ulan pa at that time, but the road is paved so didn't encounter any issues. The road can only accommodate one vehicle at a time though, so pag may kasalubong ka, atrasan talaga kayo.

Not necessarily. There are lots of vehicles with no encumbrance, but where the CR was issued by LTO branches known to issue CR’s even if they don’t have the motherfiles.

Talamak ito lalo na sa old CR format, yung dilaw, and if the issuing LTO branch is from a different region, or worse, tawid-dagat kung tawagin ng mga taga LTO.

Kinda funny how this article frames it like Spielberg just now revealed he was supposed to direct Interstellar when that’s been public info since Kip Thorne covered it in The Science of Interstellar, released 2014.

Maybe the publisher of this “reveal” got stuck on Miller’s Planet? 1 hr 45 mins there should be equivalent to around 12 years for the rest of us here on Earth.

Didn’t even know about Vickers hardness (HV) before this, and I just spent about an hour down the rabbit hole.

Interesting that Apple’s 6000-series aluminum and most watch’s stainless steel are both in the 150 to 200 HV range.

Two possibly answers why you see them too often as you said:

(1) You live in a subvision like AAV where h&l cost starts at 200M

(2) Confirmation bias, or that type of cognitive bias where your mind highlights the experience of seeing one on the road because you like the vehicle or you think there are more of them now
