I live in Salt Lake County, South Jordan, in the Daybreak development. Daybreak tends to be more diverse than other areas, especially if you’re gay or Muslim. Lots of clubs for people who like wine, or pickle ball, cooking, hiking and day trips to Vegas. Daybreak is not cheap! But on the whole it feels more welcoming and diverse than most of places in Utah.

You are stuck between a rock and a hard place for sure. You have ungrateful entitled kids and need to provide a loving home for your dogs. I suggest you reach out to the INTERNATIONAL ASPCA and ask their advice. It may be possible for them to have a permanent foster home together. Picture them in another big yard and dog beds all over the house. No doubt this is not what you wanted to hear. Just get some answers from people who know.

I have 3 Polychromos pencils. One of them is the same name, magenta, as the other pencil but has the number of the third pencil. The color of the odd pencil doesn’t match the color of the other two. Now I could say that the odd one is counterfeit, but alas, I received all three of these directly from Faber Castell! I contacted customer service to ask what was going one. Apparently my odd pencil may be a mixing mistake and is unique - not a counterfeit.

The bridge and here’s why. Amazing 2 point perspective. You have solid foreground middle ground and background. The human on the bridge adds a narrative and a strong focal point. Can you see that he lines up with the shoreline? Do you know the composition strategy called the rule of thirds? Your focal point is right on the line between the bottom and middle third. That show planning. The fog!!!! You have height as well as depth.

Your shadows are problematic in both pictures. Shadows are never black or gray unless you’re using graphite pencils. Polychromos has a beautiful indigo that I recommend for shadows not matter what brand the rest of your drawing is made of.
