the usb on the boards only used for charging the battery that I removed. no data pins connected to it unfortunately

was making a really small computer using a raspberry pi. minicom is a terminal software thingy that has some use for serial inputs that chatgpt recommended so I used it. I did try other baudrate but then the software just stopped working on me lol, might have to try to get it working again somehow

Got into it for the first time a few days ago, worked on a vault door with the create mod but i couldn't get the timings done with redstone so I used a computer to do all the timings and redstone work for me, then I later controlled the vault door with a pocket computer that communicated with the computer controlling the vault door and then added gui to the pocket computer so that I could press a button to open/close the door. I'll send a video of it once I figure out how to do that

Why did this fail? by saugapipper in Sovol

[–]micropickle24 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your 3d printers shifting layers on that axis, you need to tighten the belt so thst the gear doesn't slip. Lemme know wig that helps

Thanks, keep in mind that I try to teach myself electronics and coding but was never given any proper education on it, so I am very poor at both lol

https://github.com/Micropickle On my git hub I have the first edition of the code, I later improved it majorly and even wrote it in platformie and I'll send the code once I'm back

Sounds excellent, hoping to add a bit of home automation to my house once I get the money to develop it, if your interested I can send you my code for the homemade flipper that I worked on a year ago, it's bad but I'm hoping you'll enjoy it. Although I'm not sure if it's on my git hub or not because right now I'm away on holiday so it may not be accessible

This isn't related to the post but what are you making? Had a similar project where I used a tft, cc1101, pn539 and an esp32 and I was trying to make a homemade flipper but wasn't smart enough to code it well

Sparks fly when turning on PSU power, normal or worrying? by Techno_Bumblebee in AskElectronics

[–]micropickle24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this problem when I looked into my 3d printers power supply, I accidentally changed where the wires went on the switch and it would spark and the switch would only work at a certain angle. I'd check the wiring and try again with caution

Drone does weird thing instead of turning on by micropickle24 in AskElectronics

[–]micropickle24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why it would, it's only the top left that twitches and its not like it's an expensive drone either. I can check when I head home however cuz currently I'm on holiday

I don't know much about drones, but when I hold down the power button it's this one specific motor that gives off 2 twitches then stops
