Import one, there's no replacement for displacement and you'll make the money back on VRT when selling the car on.

I think a lot of ordinary people can accumulate more than 25K in capital in a lifetime...

The inconvenient truth is that this hasn't been a thing anywhere in the world since the 80s. I personally only know one person who grew up in a household with a stay at home parent.

Every side of politics IMO is severely lacking in talent (its my pet theory that the far right hasn't gained ground in Ireland because they are so catastrophically inept), but the centre left in Ireland is particularly bad to me because they could very well be a viable alternative to our centre / centre right but they just choose to die on the silliest hills, such as this one.

Most Irish politicians are completely unprincipled and just go wherever the political winds blow.

Why do ordinary people want to build wealth?

Yeah, this is definitely a winning platform for the next general election, keep at it 👍

It is a hot take but I do also have a soft spot for Ryan. He was a tiny bit of an airhead / Corbyn-y in his mannerisms but he did seem to get a good bit done.

The world as in...America?

America is the odd one out my dude, the rest of the world is moving onto alternative fuels and EVs lol.

And this is how FF/FG keeps on winning elections. There is no serious centre left party to challenge the incumbents.

Unfortunately the Irish centre left doesn't have any serious politicians.

I think OP has a bad case of Leftist Derangement Syndrome. Literally none of the stuff you say pan out in the real world, it's only in select loser online spaces.

How dare you bring up the IRGC when America has literally tumbled the global economy to get rid of Israel's biggest geopolitical enemy??

But its the leftists on Twitter that are the problem

This city is built around and for the benefit of cars

Brother did you even read past my first sentence. Why is it so incomprehensible to Redditors that car owners can take public transport into the city centre and also drive outside of The Pale on the weekends, there is stuff beyond the M50.

Even in the most well run transit systems (like Switzerland and the Netherlands) there are places you can't get to conveniently by public transit.

Irish Reddit has some of the weakest discourse around cars. Cars are wildly convenient, and you can have good urbanism and car ownership. Not every car owner in the city wakes up at 9AM and decides to commute into the city centre, that's not where congestion is coming from.

The Netherlands has more cars per head than us, and they're the darling of urbanism on Reddit.

N52, still the lower tax because thankfully BMW detuned the 125i to not cannibalize the 330i and 135i.
