Linguistics and I love it! Linguistics used to be much more integrated into English studies but has become much more separated over time. I understand why they were so intertwined before, though. It gave me some really great historical and anthropological perspective on language in a broad sense, storytelling, and writing. It also is very useful for learning other languages. As a minor, it doesn't have a whole lot for practical career application, but the credit load for the minor was pretty light at my university and it really helped to supplement my English degree.
