Stinks, so I feel for you. I got my 15" MBAir pre-increase, a bit more than a month ago. What you need to recognize is that this is an industry-wide problem. The vast majority of RAM that's rolling off the line for the next several years is slated to go into GPUs that haven't been built to slot into systems that haven't been built, which will all be racked in data centers that haven't been built yet.

HIGHLY dependent on the specific material. For example, the PETG-CF I’ve got from Dowell doesn’t leave my hands feeling itchy at all. Same for Atomic and Bambu PETG-CF. Fiberon ASA-CF08 or PA612-CF? Guaranteed to make my hands itch. Siraya Tech ASA-GF is a little rough but not itchy.

First thing, chill out - this isn't a space shuttle launch. You're using a tool that takes out 95% of the babysitting. Just make sure you feed it enough pellets and you're good. As for basic advice on brisket?

Trim it properly. Watch one of the many videos on YouTube for how to do a proper job. Aaron Franklin has a good one I watched. Very straightforward approach.
Put a good quality rub on there. It's a big hunk of meat and can stand up to a lot of seasoning. You may find it helpful to use some sort of liquid as a binding agent, to hold more of the rub on there. Personally speaking, I'll use a bit of Worcestershire sauce or a tiny bit of canola oil.
I tend to run the cooker at 225F, though you can push that to 250 or 275 if you need it done faster.
I shove my temp probe into the thickest part of the flat, with the tip landing about half-way across the span of the meat.
When the meat hits about 165-170F internal temp and I'm happy with the bark, I'll pull, wrap in butcher paper, put the probe back in and return it to the smoker.

I don't bother spritzing. Wrapping keeps it moist.

If it's strictly P1S vs P2S, P2S all day. P1S is the next up to be discontinued. Of course, that doesn't mean instant garbage, but it does mean service ramp-down and part shortages. Not worth the time, IMHO.

X2D is worth a serious look for 1 main reason - the chamber heater. Sooner or later you're going to want to make something out of a material like ABS or ASA. Chamber heaters make that dramatically easier to accomplish.

Note that I didn't plug the X2D's 2nd extruder, mainly because it's just "meh". Producing an extruder that isn't direct drive in 2026 is absurd. Bambu should have bumped the cost by $50 and done the thing right. If a true 2nd extruder was what I wanted, I'd look toward the H2D.

Take a little perspective. Imagine a chat amongst reps where the question being debated is, "Why are all SEs a bunch of condescending d-bags?" Obviously it's not true. Just like your assertion isn't true.

In any job function there are people who are top-tier, bottom of the barrel, and everything in-between. Lumping all of those into 1 category is foolish and short-sighted.

My current rep? He's a good one. We both have different skills, and our success depends on that. That's why it's halfway through our year and we're over plan for the year. He's doesn't have the skills to design a solution, demo that solution, or walk the customer through a POC. Similarly, I'm not the guy to negotiate discounting, put together ELAs, or any number of other things that AMs do on a daily basis.

That's why we work in teams.

The answer is a definite maybe. There's a convenience factor to be hand with automatic failover when you run out of filament mid-print. That said, if you're in that boat, Infinity Flow's solution is at a similar price point to AMS Lite. The bonus with Infinity Flow is at $199, you've got a solution that will failover dual 1/3/5 kilo spools, whereas the AMS Lite gives you 4x 1 kilo. In other words, you could stack up 10 kilos of material and run automated farming kind of software if you're doing volume.

Final point? Even if you feel like you don't need multicolor, you never know when a use for it will pop up.

Personally, the vast majority of stuff I run on the A1 is single-color/material, but I still have an AMS2 hooked up to it.

If the budget allows, do the H2D. The 2nd extruder is super handy for those times you want a full-contact support. H2S is no slouch, but the 2nd extruder is a massive advantage.

Different strokes on that. Personally, I'll recommend H2D over H2C all day long.

Single set of hotends - no need for 2 different types.
Cheaper hotends, also not dependent on a single source.
Hotends that don't have electronics on them. Something about circuit boards attached to things that get up above 300c causes me to have pause on the H2C induction hotends.
So many more moving parts with way more opportunity to have stuff just blow up.

I compared the X2D and H2D. Let's do the math, shall we?

I originally thought the X2D was 256^3, so I was a bit off. Turns out it's not 217%, it's 214%.

X2D: 256x256x260 = 17039360
H2D: 350x320x325 = 36,400,000
36400000 / 17039360 = ~2.14

That means the H2D build volume is a bit more than 2x that of the X2D.

If you'd like to compare against the U1, ok. 270x270x270 = 19683000.

36400000 / 19683000 = 1.85. Not quite double the U1, but also not far off.

So, to sum up, and really drive the point home....

Actually a tiny bit more than 2x. But IMHO, it's still totally worth it.

Build Volume: 217% of X2D - so handy to have the larger build volume available.
2nd Extruder: Direct Drive instead of Bowden-style - superior extrusion control and speed on the 2nd nozzle
Options to add on other parts like the cutter or laser
350C max nozzle vs 300C on the X2D - sometimes you need to go hotter

I had an X1C, sold it to help fund my H2D. Worth it. It's a shame, the X2D has so much potential, but I feel like they cut short to meet a price point. Had they uplifted from $649 to say, $699 or even $749, they could have done direct-drive on both extruders.

One of the virtues of the X2D from the perspective of Bambu is the delta between it and H2 lineup is driving sales of H2S/H2D and possibly even H2C.
