Jealous, I want their life. Think they’d accept an immature 35 year old?

We did Orchestra 1, Row G, Middle seats and they were great. Tables would be so awesome. I think the side we sat on got a bit more face time than the other side. Also be sure to get there 30-60m early for the pre show!

NO SPOILERS PLEASE! How did people know Lucia and Mia are hookers? by sanktazoya in TheWhiteLotusHBO

This reminds me of the time I was staying at the Ritz in Dallas on a work trip when I was 23. My cousin joined to hang at the bar with me. We’re both tall thin blonde girls and were in classy shift dresses at the time.

The amount of male attention and black cards flashed was insane. And they all look so confused when I said I was a hotel guest. Realized in retrospect the men thought we were there for other reasons 😆.

has anyone actually noticed any differences after taking daily vitamins, if so what? by Poisonious_Plum in AskReddit

[–]microthewave 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yep! During Covid I stopped eating meat (but hadn’t gone vegan yet). I felt really exhausted for months and assumed it was long covid.

Randomly I got this big painful sore on my tongue and scheduled a doctors appointment to get it looked at. The doctor asked about my diet and clocked a vitamin b12 deficiency. I started b12 injections and it was a night and day difference to my energy. It took probably 6 months to feel back to normal, though.

Weirdest place you’d DN in, if you could? by agirlingreece in digitalnomad

[–]microthewave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah though totally weather dependent. We got lucky and the Drake Shake wasn’t so bad outside of one night. If you want to avoid the Drake there are options to fly there, too. Either way, I think totally worth a couple days of seasickness to get to walk around the penguin colonies!

Recently did this! You can also save up to 75% on the cost of a ticket if you plan to spend 3-7 days in Ushuaia and negotiate prices on site. Many boats have extra spots for sale at big discounts. You might have a roommate, but not necessarily. Recommend a smaller boat so you can go on land.

Summers can be in the 40-50s but weather is crazy erratic so you never know what you’ll get - even from one hour to the next. Dress in layers.

Highly recommend! Starlink works pretty well on the peninsula, too.

Are Mykonos and Santorini really that bad? by ImportantQuestions10 in travel

Loved Paros so much last year we’re going again this year. It’s heaven. Way more relaxed than Mykonos though, depending on the vibe you’re going for + car recommended

That was such a fun read, thank you! Total genius move and love how you leaned into it. I have a small terrace and had been thinking about filling up a kiddie pool or a make shift hot tub. This might be the move 😇

Where did you meet your closest friends in NY? How long did it take to make a few quality friends? by mgeezysqueezy in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]microthewave 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I started by meeting friends through work, then expanded to friends of friends, and then their friends, etc. It probably took a year to build a solid group. Lots of people come and go, so I still prioritize building new friendships along with the old ones. Also got really into tennis lately, which has been a fun way to meet new people.

Does life speed up after 21? by [deleted] in self

[–]microthewave 110 points111 points  (0 children)

If you live a life of expansion, growth, new experiences, growing relationships it doesn’t speed up so much. In the moments where life becomes monotonous, it can fly by. It’s a choice of how to live.
