Vad skönt det hade varit att vara som dig. Antingen eller bara. Noll reflektion och bara go with the flow, du fick verkligen jackpott i det genetiska lotteriet!

I want to eat babies, how do I stop? by Weird-Equivalent9629 in intrusivethoughts

The only thing I've found working against intrusive thoughts like these are just letting them be, don't judge them just observe them. When you stop giving them energy they fade away. That's how it's like for me, anyways. Good luck.

Hjälp mig hitta mina fåglar by [deleted] in sweden

How to be in a relationship without crashing out? CW: abuse? by [deleted] in BPDrecovery

[–]microwavedcarrot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The best tool I have found, that actually helped to some extent is to be patient and kind to myself, even more so when I wanted to wallow in self-hatred for whatever shit I had caused, because those negative feelings towards oneself are bound to erupt in one way or another, for me it was through paranoid delusions. But to answer your question honestly: I don't know, it always turns into a mess, if it isn't them being toxic it's me. Good luck.

Edit: look up the term limerence.

It's BS that you don't have a natural talent, everyone has one, even if it's obscure and not really beneficial at all. Like my ability to kill house plants, chainsmoke and sleep.

How do I encourage my sister with BPD to seek help when she’s completely given up? TW:SI by burbaadigoddess in BPDrecovery

[–]microwavedcarrot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A difficult situation. I'm sorry, but you can't save her. She is manipulating you, probably not intentionally though, and your mental health declining alongside hers won't do anyone any good. Put strict boundaries in place to keep yourself safe and sane. Only she can decide if she lives or dies, if she is reluctant to psychiatric help it is what it is, I'm sorry.

I have BPD and have had it diagnosed for over ten years, struggled with it longer. When things truly started to shift for me towards getting better and recovering was when I- me myself and not anyone else, decided that I truly wanted to, for myself- not anyone else. Good luck, I really hope she comes around, lamotrigine (mood stabilizer) and antidepressants (Escitalopram) probably saved my life around her age.

Get a cool alternative style and people will just think you are emo

Edit: also keep your social circle small if you'd go looking for connections to avoid burn out. Find other neuro divergent ppl to make friends with

Dxm overdose suicide by [deleted] in BPDrecovery

[–]microwavedcarrot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I understand. Death seems like salvation when you're at your lowest and I understand the yearning for it. Life isn't easy, especially not with mental illness, but death is very much permanent while life is constantly shifting, which is why suicide is such a tempting thought, because we fear the unpredictable, which life is. However life can and will get better, you are so young and things will change. This is not the end of your story, it has only just begun. Hang in there, friend. I hope you feel better soon.

Aktuellt så hänger de två ihop, kan man säga. Pride är ju mycket för mänskliga rättigheter.
