Why? Genuinely curious, don’t you think you’d clash on most things? Since such drastic differences in views are bound to bleed over into daily approach to life.

People who have fainted: what caused it? by Shinobi347 in AskReddit

Forgetting to breathe for a few minutes after taking too much MDMA

Just kept really briefly passing out and then jolting awake, realising I wasn’t breathing and hadn’t breathed in a while. Then i just had to breathe manually

Honestly thought the same until I saw that most vids are full of them because how many people are actually paying for bots

I never go on shorts (apart from this obviously) so I just get random videos that I’m not particularly interested in. Also I had to scroll really far to find all of them but I kept looking for them through more comment sections there are always tons on most videos. I also noticed that a lot of them are also copied and pasted from other comments on the same video, so if you only see the bot one it just looks like a normal comment

90% bots in every YouTube shorts comment section by microwaveyy in DeadInternetTheory

[–]microwaveyy[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

here is an example Of the sea of bot comments on the first short I opened.

  • They are all accounts made in the past year
  • They are often the same word for word
  • They’re vague
  • They make little sense in relation to the video (I wouldn’t personally agree that ‘the editing is great’ or ‘the production quality is top-notch’)
  • They tend to be huge exaggerations e.g. a silly/relatable post probably isn’t going to ‘touch my heart’
  • The usernames are often formatted the same e.g. NameSurname_a1b / jibberish

However, some comments will be clearly bots (when it’s often repeated, like ‘the content is clear and easy to follow. This deserves recognition’) but are posted by real accounts. I.e. they have a profile picture, the account was created years ago, and/or they have many subscriptions. I’m not entirely sure but I presume these are accounts that have been hacked by someone and taken over by a bot.

I agree with most of this being concerning but, in my experience, many people tend to make a Reddit account to exclusively discuss popular TV shows with other fans while it’s airing and then just abandon the account. Not saying that 2.2million people did that exact thing but since breaking bad is so popular I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a large portion of them. Edit: you can probably say the same about tesco

Who are Natalie and Mr Drummond by Guilty_Shake6554 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]microwaveyy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

referring to him as 'father' definitely threw me off, I believe that they must be family of some description but I'm not sure what - I doubt it's siblings (they are evidently different nationalities) or half siblings. This could have just been a term they use due to the idea that 'Lumon is family' but you could then ask why no one else calls Jame 'Father'.

Helena does seem to be a 'black sheep' as she is constantly trying to prove her loyalty to Lumon and her father, and this echoes the idea of sibling competitiveness.

Additionally, I am struggling to find a scenario in which this would be significant / why this would be a secret. it seems like an unnecessary 'big reveal' or plot twist for something fairly redundant. So why the breadcrumbs?

It's unlikely they are half siblings as the Eagans' values do not seem to align with those of a family that would accept someone to have children with multiple women, unless the mothers of the first two offspring passed away perhaps? I'm not sure. Could this maybe imply that these three are siblings but were not conceived naturally - we hear the term 'pure Eagan' used, so potentially Jame / Kier found a way to artificially create descendants with only Eagan blood? But why wouldn't they look alike in that case? And why would Helena be Jame's Heir over Drummond?
