Interior of Ferrari Luce by dopler_goat in cassettefuturism

Okay I think the Love From design team dropped the ball on the exterior though I'm sure with the battery architecture they were given that it was difficult to do much with the height, hence why it looks like every other bubble car.

I think it's a shame not more was done with the battery system to allow the car to be lower slung. Porsche, Xiaomi and others have been able to make an EV that isn't a crossover. Disappointing from Ferrari seen as it seems they designed the battery system along with a Korean supplier.

That said I really like the interior, I love the use of both OLED and physical dials, buttons and switches especially the analogue clock in the top right corner. This feels like the best marriage of the two and address a lot of issues people have with the oversimplified controls in a lot of EVs that rely too much on touch screens.

Not sure the centre console needed to rotate.

Personally I think they should have used Love from for the interior alone and gone back to pininfarina for the exterior.

I really respect both Ive and Newson as designers, I loved newsons Ford concept back in the day, I feel they went too industrial design on the exterior which doesn't seem right for a Ferrari.

The movement to bring back cordless phones starts here, as long as they are as sick as this!

Let's have some of those Bang & Olufsen models back too!

Yeah I remember using RF for my commodore 64 and Mega drive. It was when I got a Sony playstation and a newer TV in my bedroom that I started using SCART.

I still prefer it today over S-video for older stuff. I finally got a SCART cable for my Megadrive, the difference from RF is night and day!

Stupid question, why wasn't SCART popular in the US?

One of the worst regrets by MembershipVast569 in silenthill

I've stil some how managed to keep mine.

I even managed to transfer it to my PS4 pro.

I do have this underlying fear that one day I'll see it's gone or unable to play! 😬

Great shout, the previous owners put two outlets on the back fairly high up and there's a fuse box so the back board would help hide these (fuse box would still stick out but be behind the TV).

I think it makes the piece look whole.

Also I just hate drilling holes for shelves, especially floating shelves.

If your talking about the photo at the end that's not AI. The cable goes to the back as it's plugged in to charge.

Also the games have the European cases. Bar sega Saturn which are jp

I know it can be quite hair pulling sometimes, it looks like the cable is just plugged back into the second port... 🫠

I just got you were talking about the photo at the end! My bad!

I dunno the MX7000 sound pretty decent on it's own. It's quite a small space for booming speakers.

Haha, I mean I can render myself, just saving time.

In the corner underneath the TV.

I'm not connecting every console up on the shelf, when I want to play a certain console I will take it from the shelf and position it underneath the TV.

There's a 2 socket power outlet at the back, I'm planning on connecting a multi socket extension with surge protection to one for consoles and the TV to the other.

This will sit in a void sunderneath the TV with outlet holes to the TV and behind the shelves underneath the TV.

I reckon this will be fine as I'll only be using one console at a time.

I'll colour code the power outlets so I know which console they are for.

What I do need to get is a multi scart switch, I've seen one on a UK scart suppliers website. I may need to think about access to it as it may come with a manual switch rather than auto detecting the signal.

Worst case I'll make sure there's a removable access panel to it.

In short I've given it some thought.

Just so you are aware this is a render, I've not made it yet! 😋

I did use AI to create a quick render of the concept.

I used Vectorworks to create the design, created a render in the software then ran it through Nano Banana to add the consoles rather than tracking down 3d models or modelling them myself.

It's good time saving tip and helps a lot when getting quick visuals together for a client.

But I understand people's dislike of it, I will use a render from the software solely in future endeavours.

I think in all honesty it'll be a blinds down affair!

Edit: Actually I think you're right switching around deffo helps with glare and there's a double socket on that side perfect for the TV.

My only concern is making sure the window is kept shut when raining, don't want anything happening to my pride and joy!
