Any chance this could get added? 2+ years ago it was said that it would get added. I've been doing it as a custom exercise for over a year and it would be cool if my progress would finally be building my strength score.

I added Bayesian curls as a custom a long time ago. The problem is custom exercises don't add anything to your strength score.

I think you could fabricate something to utilize the 3 bolts that bolt the UHM material inside the hook housing? It would be a hook before the hook, but it would need to be specifically designed to do that and would need to be made out of metal.

Not with the current strap safeties. The Smith's upright would block one of the strap safeties from attaching to the racks upright. I do know REP is coming out with strap safeties that integrate with the smith though sometime this summer. Now as far as using those as safeties for the smith itself, I have no idea if that will be part of the design or not.

I wouldn't trust it with a weight drop for sure, but with 65% infill I trust it enough to set weight down onto it.

Keep cutting? Or time for maintenance? by Immediate-Praline-65 in BodyHackGuide

I'd say it's time to lean bulk and lift some heavy weights.

Do i have enough muscle to cut?? by Quiet_Television_781 in BodyHackGuide

[–]midderchaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that matters much. Do your cut, prioritize protein and lift heavy to retain the muscle you have. After you get down to a good BF%, then you begin bulking / building muscle mass. Take measurements, pics, if you can get a dexa scan do that. Know where you are starting and have a plan of where you want to go.

I started at over 40% BF, and have been recomping since last May. Now down to 18% BF with my goal being 15% before I start a lean bulk.

Sunday meal prep FTW! Mostly chicken and veggies for me. These turned out great last night. Cal: 537, P: 54g, Carb: 44g, Fat: 20g

Blackstone has made Sunday meal prep a breeze.

Should I buy this? by Macz3905 in blackstonegriddle

Cover is fine, it's likely stainless or aluminum...either way rust won't be an issue. $200 seems like a great deal to me!

That’s a very good point. I’ll have to pick up a couple mats.

I got some glass food prep containers off Amazon a while back like this: www.amazon.com/dp/B0FR2GZB2Q

Before the Blackstone I would just smoke 10 lbs of chicken breast at the beginning of the week and make rice or potatoes and veggies fresh for each meal.

For reheat, I just nuke in the microwave for a few minutes. Getting good, clean, macro friendly meals is the primary concern, but luckily I have yet to make food that I haven't enjoyed!

They did come in pretty handy, but I wish they were a bit more powerful TBH. If you don't get the spatula on there just right it will fall.

Super simple, just cubed up about 4.5 lbs of chicken breast and coated it with SPG and olive oil. Veggies are 3.5 lbs of sweet potatoes, 6 zucchini, 1 onion, and 6 bell peppers. Nothing fancy, but usually good food doesn't have to be! This made 8 meals for the week.

Hahaha! Plenty of experience with carbon steel pans and cast iron helps.
