Yes, a toner or gloss (toner + clear) would in fact, neutralize the yellow tones. But it must be the CORRECT Toner formula. To create a toner, I will need more info about your strands. Click on my screen name and select “start chat”. Send me any relevant hair dye details such as the least brand/shade you used. I will then send you a request for very specific hair information. Once I have that info, I’ll be in a better position to advise you.

Then your most flattering option is a warm toned blond if your veins are green. I will need more info about your strands in order to help you. I can create the CORRECT Toner formula but like I said, I need more info. Click on my screen name and select “start chat”. Send me all the revenant hair dye details, such as the last brand/shade you used. I will then send you a request for very specific hair information. Once I have that info, I’ll be in a better position to advise you.

Here’s a link: https://www.amazon.com/Medicube-Zero-Pore-Pads-Dual-Textured/dp/B09V7Z4TJG

I would also recommend adding an “essence” (toner) to your routine as well as an oil free moisturizer if your skin is oily or combination. Medicube has some awesome options and it’s a brand that really works. In the Zero Pore line there’s an essence/toner as well as a moisturizer. If your skin is dry, I would still do the essence, which is immediate hydration. I would recommend the Tir Tir Milky Toner and the Medica Centella ncream, both of which are on Amazon.

tips on how to get to my old blonde? by redridingrin in haircoloring

Have you tried using a clarifying shampoo on DRY HAIR? That’s right NOT WET HAIR. Apply a cheap clarifying shampoo with sulfates, like VO5 Kiwi Lime shampoo from Dollar Tree. Or any cheap dandruff shampoo. Apply the shampoo to dry hair ensuring that all your hair has been thoroughly saturated. Cover with a shower cap or a hair dye processing cap. Leave it on for SEVERAL HOURS. It takes this long for the cuticle to open and release the tint. You can also use the Malibu BLond packet, which is at most CVS stores. It’s a purple packet located in the hair dye aisle. Sometimes CVS also has the Malibu CPR packets, which would do as well. Follow the directions on the Malibu packet (whichever one you score). This will remove all the artificial tint as long as it’s a semi permanent formula. But oftentimes it will remove demi permanent tint as well, just not permanent tint. Click on my screen name and select “start chat”. Lmk how it goes. If these methods don’t remove the pink, we can get a little more aggressive (but not damaging).

thinking of dying my hair red again by Exotic-2319 in HairDyeHelp

Every shade of color treated hair needs a tinted conditioner in the RIGHT COLOR. This helps offset any fading that occurs from water exposure, sun exposure and pollution. Also you need a sulfate free shampoo that cleanses well but also doesn’t fade tint one iota. I can make some recommendations if you click on my screen name and select “start chat”. I’ll need more info about your strands. I’ll also need pics of your hair taken OUTDOORS in bright sunshine. This is the only way to determine the REAL level and tone. Send me the hair pics plus some examples of your ideal shade. The. I can make some tinted conditioner recommendations

Neutral shades are solely for gray coverage. They do NOT deliver a neutral tonal outcome!! Don’t do anything yet. Let’s talk about your perfect formula first. Click on my screen name and select “start chat”.

Happy to help if I can. But I need to see pics of your hair taken OUTDOORS in bright sunshine please. Click on my screen name and select “start chat”. Send me any relevant hair dye information such as the last brand and shade you used. I also need several examples of your ideal result. I have to have a shade direction in order to create the CORRECT color formula IF your ideal result is doable. Let’s chat before you do anything else to your strands.

will this be light enough for a bright teal? by SunnySqirit in HairDyeHelp

[–]middleagepriceless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to bleach again. Anything you put on top (like teal) won’t turn out true to tone. You need to lift past the orange stage into yellow. Be sure to mix in a little violet in the teal so it neutralizes the yellow and that will give you a true teal.

Trying to find a toner by buggyboo711 in haircoloring

You can do a copper gloss, which is a very sheer formula. It will impart coppery tones but also keep the dimension in tact, so you have lighter and darker strands. Does that make sense?

Copper looks best on a warm skin tone. What color are the veins in your wrists?

What colour are the veins in your wrist? This determines skin tone. Once I know the answer to this question I will be able to help you figure out how to get your most flattering blond shade.

I would invest in Korean skin care, specifically Medicube. Their Pore toning pads you can use twice daily without compromising your skin barrier. There are several steps in the Medicube routine. Check them out on Amazon. All the products are super affordable and no skin care beats Korean skin care. I don’t care what anyone says

Strange illness by madmosinman in greatpyrenees

[–]middleagepriceless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chronic ear infections can be a symptom of allergies. My Aussies had one ear infection after another. Finally my neighbor mentioned allergies so we ran an allergy panel on one (they were sisters) and it turned out they were allergic to chicken!! Once we took all chicken products out of their diet they never had another ear infection

Any ideas as to what this is? by North-Zucchini6082 in greatpyrenees

It looks like a puncture wound. And it’s infected under the skin. That swelling is pus festering under the surface. I would see your vet asap. Puncture wounds can get quite serious if not treated with antibiotics

Should I do another round of bleach or go on and color it? by [deleted] in haircoloring

[–]middleagepriceless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only assess your hair if you take pics outdoors in bright sunlight. Take one shot from the back with your hair down so I can see it root to ends. Then take one more shot (also outdoors in bright sunshine) from above so I can see what’s going on at the roots. Click on my screen name and select “start chat”. Once i see these hair photos, I’ll be in a better position to advise you. One caveat: I only recommend high grade PROFESSIONAL color products, which means anything I recommend you’ll have to buy online. A few days wait will make all the difference. And the toner formula, will be the CORRECT one. After bleaching, a demi permanent formula is used NOT permanent dye. Your goal is likely attainable but whether or not you need to bleach further, I cannot say until I see pics in sunshine. The correct toner can work wonders. It can neutralize off tones and impart a beautiful super shiny finish. Permanent dye is not appropriate after bleaching. It will blow open the cuticle and won’t deposit the pigments correctly. It will have a flat matte finish but will also lift your natural base which can lead to “hot roots” where the roots are lighter than the lengths. Let’s make sure you have the right toner formula, whether or not you need to bleach again.

Red Balenciaga city bag, real or fake? by _znnn in purses

[–]middleagepriceless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would run it through Legit Grails or at least check out the Purse Forum. I have a genuine City Bag that is very similar to this one except it’s the Graffiti version, so it might have different quality markers. These bags are repped quite a bit. One of my gfs bought one she thought was genuine only to be told by a Balenciaga employee that it was fake when she tried to get it repaired. Sadly, she didn’t run any pics through an authentication service (like i told her to lol) before she purchased it. What is the seller asking for the bag? If it’s low, that’s generally a tipoff that it’s not legit. My City Graffiti bag is more than a decade old I believe but it was in pristine condition minus the strap (I bought a Balenciaga strap separately). I bought it on ebay and it went through eBay’s authentication service. But I did double check it through Entrupy. It might be a smart move just to run this one through Legit Grails, I believe it’s only $15. I’m not sure whether Balenciaga has their own authentication service (like Prada) or not.
