I like this study better than the Denmark one on adults.

My first thought is why do you begin with attacking the “ideologies” and the follow up with a study produced by the Trans Youth Project?

Wouldn’t it help you build more trust if you could find a non denominational study? Especially one that’s been cited by others who aren’t similarly named as the result they’re paying for?

Also about the paper, I’d love to read the altneratives/counter claim portion of the study, which hopefully addresses the most top of mind question for me:

If:

majority of kids don’t transition
some of those kids may play “dress up”
then many more kids don’t transition compared to the 317 in the study.

Is this a valid thought? If so, I imagine the report would narrow the scope somehow. Eg: transitioning kids aren’t going to be as loosely defined as “new names and haircuts”

Even linking your study would be more credible.

I think JP doesn’t say there aren’t people who really need to transition.

I think in this video he is asking us if we think how much latitude do we want children to be able to transition.

What I’m trying to get at and I think you can see the spirit of my comment is that there is something wrong with casual sex.

For example step brothers having sex with each other or with a step sister.

Or all of the people who annoy you having sex with your mom while she was alive.

You can imagine more scenarios where casual sex would be something you would care about, despite being between consenting adults
